I am going to my first gyno appointment ever and i have decided to get birth control....i wanna get something that will regulate my period...of course keep me from getting pregnant...help with my mood swings...and if possible something that gives me energy...any suggestions?

Hi! Im a 17 years old haitian american woman. My mom has a fabulous shape. She has small boobs, a small waist and a big behind and thick thighs. Will I get her shape. Right now. I have twice as much boob fat as my mom, about 36 B. But my waist is about the smae width as my hips! Where did this shape come from?! i SHOULD HAVE my mom's shape by now. When do you think puberty is complete for young women .Im 17 and 7months now.

i know that when one is on the pill and they go on antibiotics, a back-up method is reccomended

i am on antibiotics for a urinary tract infection and i use the nuvaring as my birth control

....so, do i need to use a back up method while on the antibiotics? my obgyn's office didnt say anything like that....

i finally decided to tell my dad about me being bulemic. he told me i have to try to work this problem out on my own. i know i cant make myself stop. it is getting to late, i feel it. i'm getting really weak,my purging has increased, my throght is hurting and something's up with my teeth. it seems he isnt taking this seriouslly and he doesnt care. i need advice/help fast!!!!

I am 19 and want to go on the pill, but would rather not tell my parents. Am I allowed to do that or would it have to go through health insurance therefore having my parents find out? Also would I need to go to the gyno in order to get on BC?? I have never been. Thanks!!

I think I should stop taking the rest of the blister. But it is very weird that my period arrived like nothing in the middle of a cycle where I am supposed to wait for my next period in 9 -10 more days. Maybe it is bleeding for another reason, any experience? thank u

Got a mole on my arm. Dark brown, about 3.5mm...irregular borders and two colors. I've been told it's just a regular atypical mole. Just yesterday, though, I noticed a little bump on it. That area has always been a bit more raised than the rest of the mole, and it is the same color. I examine my mole every day as I am paranoid and only yesterday did I see this. What could this be? And what should I do? It'll be hard to get a doctor's appointment.

hey im 14 and a few months i tarted my period nearly a year ago my boobs are aout 32A or 30B so not very big .
so my boobs used to feel quite sodt lik the tissue inside lie it was fat i could push in but now they have become firmer and it feels alot harder .. i am due on soon so is this somting to do with this ? isthis normal ? are they goin to grow more ?

I have just booked a consultation for nxt month and wondered peoples experiences that have had the procedure. Im v.slim and barely 32a, but it is really affecting my psycologically and making me depressed everytime i shop i want to cry as i feel like a boy. Does it really hurt afterwards, what are scars like?

Anyone regret it, or reccommend any good surgeous either in Cheltenham or London?

I just had a ureteral stent put in yesterday from my kidney to my bladder and I am peeing sooooo much blodd and I feel like I have to pee frequently but everytime I sit down to go t is just a little blood. Is this normal? What else can I expect? It gets removed in 2 weeks but is is SO painful! Please any advice will help!

I've been on the Depo shot for the last year and a half.....when I went in to get my shot I decided to change birth control methods and I am now on the pill. (I have not had a period in over a year)

I've been taking the pill for 3 weeks now, and today I am suppossed to take my green pill before I go to bed. But what do I do if I am not on my period?? I shouldn't take the green pill right? I'm confused!! I know I am not pregnat...I am not sexually active right now, so I am not worried about that.....I just want to start regulating my period....and it doesn't look like it's working!!

Help!!

May 25th (6th day of placebos): I am put on a 7-day course of antibiotics.

May 26th: Sex with a condom but I am paranoid that I got pre-*** on the condom even though I wiped my hands off before putting it on.

May 27th: I start a new pack at 9PM. The month before I took it at 11:30PM but for the two years I've been on it I've taken it at 9PM. So this month I switched back from 11:30PM to 9PM.

May 28th: I take Plan B because of my paranoia about the sex on 5/26.

I've had sex two more times in the past two weeks but WITH condoms.

June 9th: Bleeding after sex

June 11th (3rd week of active pills starts): Bleeding starts like a real period, with a heavy flow but for only an hour, then stops

June 12th: Bleeding starts up again for a few hours then stops

Today: light spotting

Sorry that was so long...but is this breakthrough bleeding normal?? Should I consider the last couple days of bleeding as a period or will I still get my period next week?
