I am curious as to how many of us actually fit in the healthy/normal weight range on the Body Mass Index. Check yours here and let me know. Also, can you tell me how old you are? I did this before and the only asnwer I got were from 12-16 years old girls! Thanks.

Ok, I got my period and I am on a swim team. I fing tampons REALLY painful, I can get them in. Um.... is there like a trick or some other way to swim without a tampon. Or a easier way to get it in?

i went to the do and she called me and said i may have pcos after giving me a hormone and thyroid test then i went back to pick up my records to take to another doc whos gonna run more tests ... the RN and another nurse said she dosent know why the dr. told me that because my thyroid test was normal and so where my hormone levels she said maybe because of my symtoms (never been pregnant, acne on face back and chest, and trouble losing weight..about 30lbs) no hair and all the other stuff do you think i have pcos? if not what other things have these type of symtoms? if so any advice on getting pregnant?

I stated Loestrin 24 Birth control in January. I havent gotten my period in Three months since i was taking it. i switched my pill to Yasmin a month ago and i m 3 days into the white pills to start my period, but nothing yet. I'm worried that i completely screwed up my body. has this happened to anyone before and if so is there anything i can do? and should i be worried or will it work itself out?

About 2 years ago, I started a very stressful job in a call center. I gained several pounds during the past two years and have been unable to shake the extra weight off. If I was to go to a primary care physcian and explain the situation, what are my chances that the doctor would prescribe me a diet pill (such as phentermine or adipex)?

i just wanted to know if anyone has had a tubal and gotten pregnant after having it done. or if you know anyone who had it done and what your story? the reason i am asking is because i had it done and now i have heard stories about getting pregnant after getting it done. so please do tell!

ok so I was in the er sunday night after many weeks of tummy trouble (diarrhea) and they perscribed antibiotics...flaygl 500mg 3x a day with food...I had already been feeling weak and knew I had lost most nutrients. so the next day I took the meds and started birth control pill (loestrin 24 fe) after checking with the pharmacist and taking them at different times with food always...I started feeling nasious. the next morning I woke up puking and the next day I took all the meds again but couldnt sleep because I felt so nasious and finally vomited everything and I mean everything I ate yesterday...at like 4:30am. the dr believes it was the antibiotics making me sick and said it was a very harsh kind...not uncommon at all. so now the plan of action is dont take antibiotics and try to eat. I can barely eat my stomach is so messed up. I find it very unusual that it was so many hrs after eating that I puked each time and was hoping to get a 2nd opinion on the meds :)

For the past 2 weeks, I've been having PMS symptoms, but I haven't gotten it. I've had the normal clear, ovulation discharge until today.

I have a lot of brown discharge (dried blood), plus some normal menstrual blood mixed in. I had some cramping this morning, but that's it.

I'm not sexually active, but I have been exercising a lot more than usual.

Does this mean, I should be getting my period at like any time?

I just recently swtiched to a lower homorone birth control pill than the one I was previously taking. Since then I have been sick to my stomach, have frequent headaches, and have a loss of appetite. Are these normal side effects or is something else seriously wrong? Thanks!

My new boyfriend wants to hang out (with all our friends) at the pool. And i just HAD to get my period today at 2 am in the morning!!! I'm too young to use tampons (according to my Mom), so, can I go swimmin' with a PAD?! i HAVE to go. i just have to go!! my flow isn't that heavy btw

well hun, i was the same way. it felt better for me, u know comfortable. my friends thought it was weird. but my mom kept on telling me if u sleep w/ ur bra on over a long period of time, it could lead to cancer.
i didn't belive her so i kept doing it. then i know this sounds gross but i got a tiny lump in my right breast, on the side.
i got so scarred i stoped wearing them and it went away.
sooo i think u should stop even though ur used to it.

Does it feel like cramps?

If you saw my previous question you know why I am asking this. for 2 days I have been feeling cramps like my preriod is coming and it has not! This never happens to me....
I am not on Birth control~ and have not been since Febuary~

Could my "cramps" be the embryo? ~ Its too early to know with a prego- test the home ones anyway... I am supossed to get my next period on July 4th!

Ok I had my period for a solid week like everytime I have it. But my next period isnt suppose to be till July 15th, but for 3 days I have been spotting brown and I was just wondering what could cause me to do this....its not heavy or anything but still I didnt know what it meant.

I have pcos and I normally have heavy periods that last for up to two weeks.I normally had to wear both types of sanitry protection and change every two hours.

This last period has been different as it only lasted two days and has been lighter than normal.
I only had to wear a pad and changed every four hours
It started off with pink mucus spotting then went on to red flow. There was a clot the size of a penny on day one and I had some smaller clots on day 2 and i had cramping which went when the period stopped.

I have lost weight do you thing this has any thing do do with my period being different this time.

well i do swimming and when i would have a period i would need to put that but i never try becuz i tried it once with my moms help it is painful i did not make it in. the brand was gentile glide. that was not good
do u know any tampon that is not a hard cotton like the gentile glide?

ok so i have a hugh fear of hospitals and no matter wat i do i cnt get rid of it in august i have to go for a tooth took out from behind my side teeth under local anestetic and i really cant do it , i am eith going to runaway or break down and my parent are making me i really am at the edge here and can see my self doing sumet i will later on rregret
