okay i started my period 11 months ago. and i didnt tell her.
i dont want to tell her i started 11 months ago. i want to tell her i started now. is that ok?.... because i know it will hurt her if she knows i didnt tell her.

Why would you not tell her? Just tell her, no big deal. I bet she knows already though. She won't be mad.

are u okay with talking to ur mom about ur period? if u are then it would be fine to tell her u started 11 months ago but if u were using her "personal" products then wernt they a bit big? ya got to tell her anyway so she can get you the ryte size and stuff yo udont have to tell her when just say u started ur period and if she finds out about the 11 month thing then just tell her you were nervous ...

I was I started when I was in the 6th grade and did not tell my Mom until the 7th
She understood because that is a very personal issue for every women

okay so just tell her you started your period, and when she asks you when did you start, you just say recently. what difference does it make? you have started your period now and it's time to talk about becoming a woman, and how to not get pregnant before you are ready, and everything else that's really important in life. not " when" you started your period!

Well why in the world didn't you tell her that you started your period? I know it could be embarrassing but she needed to know. But anyways yea i guess you can tell her you just got it, its not like shes going to know any different.

well just to know my little sister is 13 she had hers 1 year ago and she told my mom and she told her what to do but even if you dont tell her she may know and she's waiting on you to tell her you got it so just sit her down and tell her she will understand cause she has to go through it to

what's the big deal with telling her? She's *your mom*, she's expecting u to get your period! don't forget that all women go through this.
just go and tell her "mom, i got my period", plain and simple. there's not much to it.
