Why shouldn't I wear a bra at night?
All my friends think it's odd that I wear a bra at night, but that is the way I feel comfortable. Why shouldn't I?

well hun, i was the same way. it felt better for me, u know comfortable. my friends thought it was weird. but my mom kept on telling me if u sleep w/ ur bra on over a long period of time, it could lead to cancer.
i didn't belive her so i kept doing it. then i know this sounds gross but i got a tiny lump in my right breast, on the side.
i got so scarred i stoped wearing them and it went away.
sooo i think u should stop even though ur used to it.

Of course not. Bras at night or day do not cause cancer.
Whoever perpetuates such ignorance is either ignorant or malicious or both.

It does sound weird but my mom told me the same thing so i asked my OB/GYN he told me not to wear bras to sleep that are under-wire bras because they can cause cancer...i stopped after that and i got use to not wearing a bra to sleep..its just because you shouldnt wear them for more than 14-16 hours a day

bras do not cause cancer at all no matter when or how much u wear them, i always sleep wit a bra i have too thats how i feel confortable ,i wear a bra all the time theres nothin wrong wit it

yeah sounds like an old wise tale! I know that if you sleep in one then it makes your top firmer for longer:)
