I don't do that, unless it was an extreme emergency where I couldn't get out of the house... he'd get the wrong thing anyways.

I'll never know why some men make such a big deal about purchasing pads and tampons for the women in their lives. Do you get embarassed buying toilet paper? Of course not because it's natural. If you had a period, you would not be ashamed to make such purchases. Do you feel like less of a man when you're in the check out line with a box of pads or tampons? If so, shame on you.

For the most part, I believe women could take care of this task themselves but in certain cases of emergency, men should step up without feeling embarassed by it.

My fiance and some of my best guy friends have been with me when I've purchased tampons. I don't understand why you "hate" having to do this. I'm sure most women hate squeezing a baby out of their vagina but they do it and it would not be possible without a monthly period. The use of tampons and pads is a natural part of womanhood, just be grateful you're the one making the purchase, not the one bleeding for 7 days.

I do sometimes not all the time, only when I forget. I really don't keep up with my period so sometimes it surprises me. If I'm at home and he's on his way I'll ASK him if he can stop by somewhere before he gets home and pick some up. If he isn't up for it I don't push him but he's a real man's man and doesn't give a sh*t. There tampons, it's not like it's a Playgirl, come on!

No, I would never do that.
But, surprisingly, my husband volunteered once when I was on maternity leave. I was shocked and felt loved, but I declined anyway. Why? Because I know he would get the wrong kind, even if I wrote down what to get.

swettheart you may hate it, that's the way you feel, but I get very sick when I'm on those days, and it had happened that sometimes if I don't have it in the house, he has to go and buy it for me, I can't not even get up from my bed, so it's my husband for the good times, why he can't not be in the bad ones?

thats something I normally take care of myself. Very rarely {like twice} have I sent my man shopping for me. I have had to send him home to get those things for me when I was at work or school. and to all the men who have done this for us, bless you!
