The Gynie thinks i might have Endomitriosis, they found cysts on my ovaries on an ultrasound would this be Endo or something different as well? anyway so am having a laparoscopy, will i be sore afterwards or is it no biggie? Also he said if possible he might remove something if he finds it. Is it always possible to do this with Endo. thanks

I worked out my period will start whilst in Turkey on my hols this august. I hear there are tabs you can get from the GP to stop the period happening for a special occasion. Its not my honeymoon or anything just me, hubby and the kids. But period will be a pain. Is it worth it or are the side effects worse?

I have endometriosis and extremely bad pmt (due to be given prostap and livial as a treatment). In addition I am becoming increasingly forgetful and my short term memory is appalling. Anyone out there have any suggestions or personal experiences to share please?

When i was 11 i went camping and I remeber as i wiped my virgina i found blood on the paper so i throught i had my period but it never bleed again it was only little not that much..

Does having sex hurt? And does it sometimes bring on a period? I mean if u were a day or two late, then had sex would u be likely to wake up the next morning in pain and with some bleeding? Also, have u ever collapsed with the pain? Thank you for all honest answers.

I'm 17 and I think my mum thinks I am losing weight to quickly.
I've never been over weight but I still would like to lose a few!

Last year my eatting and exercise patterns were pretty bad. This year I've been concentrating on just being healthy. I've been exercising quite a bit and eatting ok, but better than previously.

My mum has been commenting lately that i've lost a lot of weight (i'm still in the healthy weight range).

I've noticed lately that she has put on a bit of weight (she would be considered underweight, but because of her recent coeliacs diagnosis she has put on possibly 5kgs)

Anyway, since my mum has been commenting about my weight she has started offering and giving me sugary and fatty foods, rather than the fruit and veges I would normally be given.

Do you think my mum is trying to make herself feel better about her small weight gain? Or something else?

I just started my birth control 2 months ago, the 1st and last month my period was fine. But this month i have been on my period for 2 weeks. I still have cramps, and i am bleeding really heavy. Could it be possible to be pregnant? Or could it just be the birth control messing with me?

I am 47 years old. I haven't had a period for 3 months now. I went from have regular normal periods that lasted for 4-6 days to nothing. I have no other menopause symtoms, no hot flashes, no night sweats no vaginal dryness. I do however get the same feeling in my body around the time I used to have a period such as tender breasts, kind of feeling bloated etc. But I no longer am getting the awful mood swings I used to get while on my period. I had my last pap smear about 6 months ago, all was well. Had a mammogram also about the same time. I couldn't be pregnant because my husband has been 'fixed' In my family 47 is kind of young to go through menopause. My mom was in her 50's and my oldest sister also in her 50's My other sister who is 51 still is having her cycle. I have however gone through some very serious health issues in the last 15 years so I figure that could contribute to possible earlier onset of menopause than the rest of the women in my family.

a D&C,laparoscopy and removal of a vaginal legion(not sure what it was yet, waiting for pathology results to come back)?It will be 2 weeks tomorrow since my surgeries and I've been bleeding brown since the day after.I know bleeding is normal,esp. after all the procedures I had done,but why would it be brown for so long?And there's been kind of an odor.Not foul,but it has a stronger than normal scent.Doesn't really smell like just "old blood" either.No green,itching,or any sign of infection so I'm not sure if it's just because I've been having discharge for so long?It is possible to have THAT much old blood?Every once in a while I will see pink/red when I wipe but I'm sure that's normal.My body readjusted pretty well in general after what it went through,only bled 1 1/2 days and some severe cramps.I haven't had any sexual activity or used any tampons,like ordered,so there's no possible way of STDs or anything like that.I'm sure this is probably normal,but can anyone just reassure me?

I haven't changed my diet.
I am getting the same amount of sleep i usually get.
Yet, i've been falling asleep in my classes.
Coming home from school & sleeping 2-4 hours.
Then, in the mornings i do not want to get up.

(im 11) I got my first period a couple months ago and i hate it, i don't want to grow up, i actually cried in front of my mom!!! When i'm at school i feel like somebody can see my 'diaper' or you can see blood through my pants. I know this is gross but i can't wear underwear w/out them getting red! i have absolutely NO clean panties anymore! I keep checking on myself 24/7 and i have to keep changing pads. My mother just bought tampons for me but i can't find the right place to put it, i keep putting it in the urine one not the mentsruation. I need HELP!!!

this is my second time using a tampon (playtex sport) ya but no trouble putting it in but pulling it out hurt so bad and it wouldn't come out until i realized there was a piece of skin looped around the tampon i used my finger nail to unloop it but its still in a circle and im really scared im only 14 pleasse HELP

I'm 14 and well... I want a baby. I know thats odd but I do. I know that having a child is alot of work temper wise.. and such, I can't help wanting one, I know I am not ready for a child at all but I still really want one. I have had thease odd feelings to be a mom sence I was 13. Their were even times when I would think I was pregnet, but I knew I was not.. because I could not be not ever having sex before. I think having children at my age is dumb because you are just not ready, I even think having sex at this age is dumb because you just really are not ready.. I don't know I just don't understand why I want a baby. I feel like I am going go crazy if I don't become a mom soon and I don't know why.

I've tried several types of pills and all make me frequently nauseous. I've been on ortho-tri-lo for a year and even that makes me nauseous. I always feel the worse right after the 3rd pill of the new pack, but many times throughout the month as well. I take the pill at night with food, but nothing seems to help. I don't know what other kind of pills will help since I'm already on a low dose kind. I've tried the shot, but gained too much weight on it, plus I don't want to deal with the calcium loss in my bones. I'm hesitant to try the ring or patch because I'd rather know I took the pill and was protected. So, any advice on the nausea? Any suggestions on what other kinds I would try with minimal side effects? Thanks!

When starting a new birth control?? I just started the ring and my body is going CRAZY!! I am getting a couple of bumps on my face (which is totally not normal for me) and I am REALLY having BAD mood swings and I am cramping...like just light cramps like you have when you are on like your 2 or 3rd day of your period. Ok, so I got my 1st ever period on Jan. 15. So then I got it the next month around the 20. So in March and in April I didn't get my period. But in April I still got the side affects but no period.
