I haven't changed my diet.
I am getting the same amount of sleep i usually get.
Yet, i've been falling asleep in my classes.
Coming home from school & sleeping 2-4 hours.
Then, in the mornings i do not want to get up.

Why could i be so tired?

Could it be that you're not sleeping as well as you think? Just cus you're sleeping a certain number of hours at night doesn't mean it's good restorative sleep. Other than that, could be that you're coming down with something, need more vitamin B or iron. If it keeps up for more than a few days, you should see a doctor.

I had the exact same problem in high school. From my experience it can be 1 of 2 things. First it could be mono. If you have a sore throat or pain in your lymph nodes (neck, arm pits, groin) thats a big signal of mono. Secondly it could be depression. Depression can cause extreme fatigue all the time. It is caused by a chemical imbalance and is very very common. Go to your doctor and talk to them about your symptoms and they can help you. If it's mono you'll have to sleep it off. If it's depression or another disorder they can give you medication which can make a huge difference. Best of Luck!

Maybe it's just that your body NEEDS more sleep. Maybe your workload has increased - not significantly - or maybe you're using your mental powers more without realizing it. Undergoing any stress or depression, anything frustrating happening around you? Try exercising some and then sleeping an hour more or something. More fruits and veggies more water...good luck! =)

P.S. Keep some strong mints if you want to try to stop the class sleeping thing.

I'm the same way... I sleep all the time it feels like. It could just be a temporary hormonal problem. I have messed up periods so I went to my ob/gyn and she gave me hormones to take and as long as I take them, all my fatigue/drowsiness goes away. It could just be that you are a growing teen. Maybe see a doctor to get an opinion... not an ob/gyn, just a family doctor.

I was having the same problem as you. I had to go see a doctor and he told me that i had a problem with my thyroid. I was put on some medicine and have been on it a while now and i am feeling better. Just ask your doctor to test your thyroid.

I always get tired when it is that time of the month. Do you notice it more then?
Too little exercise?
Not drinking enough water (dehydrated)?
Could be stress related.

Any number of reasons come to mind.
Even if you have not changed your diet, you may have become anemic.
The number of hours of sleep may not have changed but the quality of sleep may have decreased.
Are you in any stressful situations?
Do you have allergies?
And, not knowing your circumstances, so if this doesn't apply please don't be offended.....but could you be pregnant?

I don't want to jump into any conclusions here, but what everything you have said are symptoms of depression. Might wanna look into it.

It's probably the heat. I've been feeling like that and so has a coworker of mine.
