my doctor just prescribed Yaz for me, not for pregnancy prevention, but for serious serious PMS. (i think they call it PMDD?) i felt all 'out of wack' with my hormones.

i'm wondering if anyone has taken it for this reason? and how long did it take before you notice a change? did you get any other positive side effects besides a more even mood? like...clearer skin? less food cravings? improved sex drive? or what about negative...such as weight gain?? i just want to know what i should expect...if i should hit the gym now to combat anything! i'd rather not take it at all...but it's either this, or alienate everyone i know because i'm so cranky and feeling bad all of the time. thanks for any input!

i got my first period in january and havent gotten it since and NO IM NOT PREGENT dont you think i would have been trowing up and have a belly the size of a car!!

but anyway is this even normal do i have a health disorder or something....im really worried

My boyfriend and i have been dating for sometime now,and he wants to take the relationship to another level.But my whole thing is that i have low risk hpv,occaisionally i would get warts but they would go away after time.If i tell him i have it he would never talk to me anymore and think that im (dirty).hes a very cool guy or whatever but i just dont know what to do!should i tell him or no?What should i do as far as my future relationships .

ok.heres the story. me and my boyfriend had sex about maybe a month and 2 or 3 weekes ago,anyways and the condom broke. i told my mom the next day so she we went and got the morning after pill so i DIDNT get pregeant. now my mom wants to put me on birthcontrol which is a great idea but...its taking her a long time to accualy do it.i want to be on it so its alot safer but i dont want to rush her cause then shell think i didnt learn anything from almost getting pregeant. but i did, i want to be safe but im not sure how my mom is going to act if i tell her i want it. i dont even have a doctor yet since we moved here liek 2 years ago....i know thats bad. but yeah i want to tell my mom but i dont want her to think im rushing her. hellppp

I have had a sweating problem for a while and I need a quick fix so i can go on my school trip and not be embaressed. I can have a shirt on for 10 mins and have HUGE sweat marks. I use anti perspirent deoderant
and i have got somthing from the docotor and NOTHING helps . Any advice?

did clomid affect your period/ cycle? my cycle went from 35 days to 30 and my periods did last 7 days and now only 5. i used to have alot of blood clots (sorry to much info.) andnow its just heavy bleeding and not any clots?

Recently my girlfriend has been getting some shooting pain in her uterus or that general area and it shoots up. She doesnt know what it is. She might be pregnant but were not sure. She is having a very light period. Could either of those have to do with it? What could it be? Whats going on?

I know that you need to use another form of birth control if you are on the pill and taking antibiotics. Does anyone know when would be okay to trust the birth control pill again? I stopped taking the antibiotics yesterday and that was the second day of my non-active/green pills. If I just wait until I start the new pack on Saturday would that be okay?
Also, my period was supposed to come this morning but it hasn't. There is a tiny amount of something but I wouldn't have even noticed if I hadn't been searching for it--so not my period. I have not had sex while on the antibiotics. Could they cause a delay in my period? (it's not even a day late yet I'm just usually very regular). Thanks!

Because I've been doing some dances to certain songs . Also , i've been doing crunches and some cardio . Also , how many pounds can you lose in 3 months while dancing.. how much mins do you think i should dance ,i want to lose about 13 pounds or so in my stomach . Im on a diet right now.

Ok, my husband and I want to have another little one, back 15 years ago he had a vasecetomy, well we checked into having it reversed the dr. said being it was so long it wouldn't probably work, so about 6 years ago we went thru a sperm donor, with a reproductive doctor, well I go pregnant the first time at age 33...so we have tried for 3 months and nothing, so the reproductive doctor put me on Clomiphene (50 mg) start on day 3 of my period (5 pills) then on Sat. night my husband had to give me a shot of Novarel (10000) then on Monday I went to get inseminated, well I don't really know how this all works together, but the past 3 months I ovulate on day 19, I am not normal, and just don't know why the doctor really had me go on monday being that would of been day 13, can anyone help...my insurance doesn't pay anything so the time we have left is very limited, and didn't know if there is at home insemations people have done if it was cheaper, but I want a company that everything is ok.

Sometimes my blood is so dark, its almost black, through my whole period. It has the look and consistency of chocolate syrup. Is this normal? Does anyone else out there have this??? Thanks in advance

okay so im 15 and once in a while someone tells me that my pubic bone sticks out really far, i mean ive noticed it to but is there anything i can do about it? Im so self concious about it that i hate going to the pool, because you can tell in a bathing suit, and im afraid to get "intimate" with a guy because all the other girls dont look like mine. I started developing hirsutism at puberty. My dad's side of the family, especially my dad, is really hairy. There's only one other female before me, & she is hairy, but doesn't have any facial hair that I can tell. I had a lab test done to check all sorts of hormones to rule out PCOS. I had been on birth control for about 3 months at that point. When the lab tests came back, they were all down the middle normal. Would the Pill have had that significant of an effect on the validity of the results? I have asked this question before & peolpe write back telling me about PCOS. I know what that is & just b/c it is the most common hormonal disorder, does not mean it is the most common underlying cause for hirsutism. 95% of the time it is genetic. I have always had normal periods, (sometimes heavy), not overweight, low blood pressure, etc. No other symptoms except mild acne & oily skin. If my hormones were abnormal, that would be why PCOS develops, but according to my doc, they are normal.

My daughter told me this this morning:
