Excessive sweating is one of the symptoms of vitamin B12 deficiency. Eat more foods rich in this vitamin:

Yeast, liver, beef, eggs, milk, cheese and fish, kidney and pork.

When we are under extra stress the body will naturally use more of this vitamin. It is part of the B complex group of vitamins - B1, B2, B3, B5 B6 and B12. These vitamins are water soluble and as such need to be replaced in our bodies on a daily basis. The human body can neither store or produce these vitamins. If you don't get them on a daily basis you will suffer other symptoms as well such as: depression, dizziness, chest pains and heart palpitations, numbness and tingling and prickling sensations in the outer extremities, nausea and vomiting, insomnia and constipation, headaches and migraines, irritability, moodiness, fatigue and exhaustion and inability to concentrate!! Not very nice is it!!

Maybe you should go get yourself a multi B complex tablet with all the B vitamins included as they work best as a group. Expect to pay around $30.00AUD for about 125 tablets (4 months supply). Honestly, you will get almost immediate relief from your symptoms just by correcting the nutritional deficiency. I have 3 school age children and a workaholic husband and each time one has a tummy ache, headache, too tired to do anything etc....... it is inevitably because they've been ditching their lunches in favor of the school tuck shop junk food like meat pies and sauce!!

I know its so easy when you're rushed to eat the junk food, but unless you plan your meals better you will continue to feel c*rappy and below par!!........... Hey, good luck and Good health 2 u!!

There are more options than "something from the doctor". Please see a dermatologist, and if possible, one who specializes in hyperhidrosis. There are prescription anti-perspirants that are very successful such as aluminum tetrachloride (Xerac).

There is also a treatment aluminum chloride hexahydrate (Drysol). You receive two or three treatments a week for a few weeks and then only need once a week after that.

Another new treatment uses electric current to block the action of the sweat glands. It is used daily for a week and then your sweating will be relieved for a month.

You can search for a dermatologist who has a lot of experience at this web site: http://www.sweathelp.org/English/

Also, in the meantime, you can try the newly advertised Certain Dri antiperspirant that is supposed to be made specifically for people with excessive sweating. You can purchase it in any drugstore.

Join the swim team and if anyone asks why you're sweating, just say you came back from practice.
