hello everyone has anyone ever had or ever heard of a nurse cutting the tip off the needle before depo provera injection here is what happened this was almost 2 years ago i went to get my depo shot and the nurse broke the tip of the birthcontrol off then when to give my my injection in my right arm it didn't work at firt she tried to push the birthcontrol in but only alittle would so she pulled it back out said it was probably not sharp enough cut or broke the tip of the needle off with some thing then re: gave me my depo provera shot wich worked but because i have never had this happen or ever heard of this happening i got my next 2 depo injections in my right butt cheek the other place it is given both of the 2 shots left sunken in indents in my skin and muscle were she gave me the injections one is lower than the other like the middle of my right but cheek and i have had a dull numbing pain were the indents are and going all down my right leg thank you for any answers

I went to my gp today to ask her for a prescription of Norethisterone to take to delay my period at the end of this month and she had no idea what it was. Instead she advised me to start BirthControl and just skip the white pills.

Will norethisterone work better than doing the whole back to back pill thing? and if so, how do I get a prescription now?

I've had my period since i was 12 and i'm now 22. My period was heavy up (as in normal for me) until these past to months.I get the cramps and gas previous to my period then it comes and its only almost like discharge but a redish browish colour. I'm not to sure what it means. I use to get that at the end of my cycle but never in the beginning or in the middle. Also it only lasts for 2 or 3 days.
I mean i was stressed out about a month ago but can it still affect my period a month after?

LMP was 2/27/07 after a ectopic and tube removal 1/15/07. I haven't seen a period since only spotting, which stopped around the last week in April. I went to my doctor and had an blood pregnancy test done it was negative.I still haven't had a period but , now i have swollen ankles? I go to my ob/gyn tomorrow , but i need some insight on what may be going on with me . Thanks in advance.

Ok i haven't had my period in almost 10 weeks...and i'm not pregnant just took a test like a week ago. I keep getting really sharp pains on the left and right sides where my ovaries would be. before my last period I was having my periods every 2 weeks and then 10 weeks and still nothing....any suggestions???

I have been sexually active for five years now. I lost my virginity to the man I am with right now at the age of sixteen. We have ALWAYS used condoms, which have thus far, seemed like a great option for us. After all, all of this time we have only been able to see eachother tri-monthly, being that we have lived in other states since we first met. But now, since I'm fresh out of college... and he is still attending. I intend to move to his area with him and move in together. Now, the living situation shouldn't be hard to adapt to, being that we have actually live together for months at a time. Just, as I said before, having sex while using a condom. Unfortunately, I am allergic to latex.. So we have had to buy lamb skin condoms.. But they are extremely EXPENSIVE. So I was wondering. Any other good birth control (pills, rings, etc. etc) that you girl's would recommend? because Condoms and the Rythm Method just can't cut it. (We have both been tested CLEAN for Stds/HIV)

for some reason my breasts have started sagging loads in the last 3/4 months.The reason its concerning me is cos i'm only 24, most womens breasts don't start sagging until their late 30s or 40s. Could the fact that theyre quite big(34D/DD) have an effect? I've never been pregnant so that isn't why. I don't do much excersise either. I'm not sure why i'm letting it bother me, i just don't like how it makes my breasts look. It feels like they weigh more now than they did before and its harder to find clothes that makes by boobs look good. Have any women had this when they were young? I just feel like this should be happening in 15 years not now!

My last 2 periods have been very light. Added on strangeness, usually when they are very light I get unbearable cramps but that didn't happen. Plus they were very close, less than 3 weeks. What's going on? The only change I've made in my life is that I'm started ballroom dance lessons and I started taking vitamin E. But usually when I exercise they're are farther apart and much heavier.

What is up with that?
I am a 21yr female, I've been with my boyfriend for 6yrs and this cramping has only happened the last two times we "made love". I've been taking birth control for about 3 or 4 yrs but the last time my period was over my birth control hadn't come in yet (through the mail) so I went a week after my period with out taking any birth control. I shouldn't get pregnant if we had sex during that week?? Thanks for any answers

Periods are a bother, esp for me :( Uhm, well, uh, yeah, they are such a hassel, and seeing as i'm only 14, I don't plan on having kids anytime soon. So could I stop it until I'm like 25+ or something? And then bring it back, if I should decide to have children?... I'm an active sporty person, but tampons are not an option, and sanitary towels get in the way, this might be my best alternative..

I'm 13, 2 months ago mom decided I gotta wear a bodysuit, that pice of undergarment that covers all your brests , torso, back and clips at your crotch. I hate that thing, it's uncomfortable, hot, makes me sweat, but she said I have no choice and and have to wear it everyday, except for sleeping and taking a shower. None of my friends wear one, I hate it but she doesn't back off, says it's for my own best, for modesty and is good for body, though I'm slim. Once I disbeyed , she found out and I got punished. Yesterdat I made a fuss but didnt work. Summer is coming and I guess that thing will get even worse to wear.
Is she right? Do I have to obey? Should I take it off behind her back? I hate it! Is this child abuse?

omg its like taking forever....my last period was march 15th....i ovulated on april 3rd and now its the toruting me...cause my hormones are sooo out of wack....i know i'm not prenant there is no possible way...and i alreayd had a prenancy test done ne ways...negative....but i'm like dying here....i'm either crying...or about to kill someone...

my doctor has me starting birth control to help regualte it ...excpet i can't start it till my period starts....why oh why me.....

I am currently taking Yasmin given to me by my regular GYN; however, my insurance won't cover the price of it, so I have to pay $50 a month for it. I am a student in college and I just don't have enough to continue to keep buying it. I've heard of people getting either free or reduced price in birth control from Planned Parenthood. Is this true or is it still based on your insurnace the price you get for your birth control? Any advice??

ok, so normally i don't get period pain because i am so active so i only get it once every 3-6months and it isn't tha bad. But this time when i get craps they are really sharp especially when i got to the toilet, it feels like someone is stabbing me, but its not just in the normal place you get period pains, it feels like its in my rectum and bladder and then when my period is over and i'm not in the bathroom or need to go to the bathroom the pain all but goes away :S is somthing wrong?

Around 6 months ago, I started to notice a lump on the inside of my vagina, and several smaller bumps on them that are growing, and getting hard. I'm extremely nervous about these, so I consulted my school nurse (I've known her all my life and really trust her) and she told me to go to the gynocologist for it, and also to go on birth control because I have really bad cramps when I have my period.

We called my mother together, and described the problem, and my mother said that she would make a gynocologist appointment, but she hasn't yet. It's been about a month and a half, but I'm scared to ask her again because my mother is very strict.

How can I ask her again without seeming like I'm nagging? Also, what could the bump be?

Im really scared that I might be pregnant. I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend, I know I shouldn't of but I did. My boobs are really sore, I've been feeling really tired lately. My last period was eight weeks ago. Although sometimes my stomach is a little bit tender and I feel like im going to come on but I don't and the tenderness goes away. Does it sound like im pregnant or do you think that it could be something else. I also have a cyst on my left ovary it isn't Polycystic. Im really worried that it might be something else. Could there be another explanation why im feeling this way.
