Ask your doctor for something cheaper. There are so many low dosage brands nowadays. Mine has ranged between $12 and $25.

Well I live in Texas and my Yasmin is only about $17 because my insurance didn't cover all of it.
But I agree with the people who said to go to Planned Parenthood and get them for free.

$44 for Kariva.
have you gone to planned parenthood?
do you not have health insurance?
you should NOT have someone else get you pill packs, you should do it yourself.
how old are you?
Edit: Also think of it this way. Would you rather spend $35 a month protecting yourself, or deal with OB/GYN visits and all the costs of maternity clothes and diapers???

The crazy thing is most insurance companies don't cover birth control, but they cover Viagra. I think it is because men run the companies.
Go to Planned Parenthood or your local health department. They usually operate on a sliding fee scale. You only pay what you can afford.

Ortho tricyclen is about $30 a month without insurance. There are generics available for most brands. I would check it out with your pharmacy. Also your county health department probably has a sliding scale plan based on how much money you make.

because of the fact beginning administration does not preserve you from STDs. in basic terms a condom can do this. it is super that your gf is on beginning administration, as you're suited approximately it being greater effectual against being pregnant. whether oral beginning administration and different contraceptives, such because of the fact the beginning administration jewelry and photos, do no longer preserve you or her from STDs. Pulling out/taking flight (in spite of you opt to call it) is likewise for the prevention of being pregnant, no longer STDs. the only time that's secure to no longer use condoms is while the two one among you're monogamous and the two one among you have presently been checked for STDs and HIV/AIDS, and had unfavorable effects for sure. whether you be conscious of you and your better half have been monogamous, you ought to the two be examined each and every 6 months just to make certain. understand which you do no longer would desire to have intercourse to get HIV/AIDS, and the final element you elect to do is supply your better half an STD.
