I had my tubes tide in July of 06 and still today my periods are 10 days long with the first 3 days just spotting then 4 days of heavy bleeding and 3 days of spotting again. Then this month I had some spotting in between. I had a baby in may of 06 and no birth control after that and no birth control before baby.. MY periods have always been normal before and after i have had my kids. I have 3.
So is this normal and i should just deal with it or should i talk to obgyn about it?

ok well i am 13 and in 7th grade...i konw i am not going to have sex but every one around me thinks about it contantly...i just want to know how old you were when you had sex and how old you are now... please that way i can understand the normal or average age...most people that i know that have had sex...parents and sisters...wont tell me and they are not really the best people to tell me...i am the only virgin left in my family so how old were you???

Do they just not want to be sued by the parents of the under age minors, for selling something that could encourage teens to have sex or have an eating disorder?
In other words, if the parents didn't know about the product would it bee safe healthwise?
I'd like to know because I'm thinking about buying something that says people under 18 can't take it, but I want to be sure its safe. Thanks.

I bought a pair and i'm wondering if i made the right choice with regards to UV protection.

It says in their manual that the sunglasses meets 100% of ANSI Z80.3 UV requirements. It also says it meets EN 1836.

and that it is designed to protect the user from harmful rays of the sun.

When it says it meets 100 % of ANSI Z80.3 UV requirements, does it mean it blocks 100% of UVA, UVB and UVC?

I don't know since i havent' rent ANSI Z80.3.

Hi, I am 29 and absolutely positive that I do not even have the slighest desire to have a child but being on the pill the past 12 years can't be all that healthy. I've decided that I want to get my tubes tied, I was reading that there's laws regarding age and that some doctors can't perform it on anyone under 30 - anyone know if this is true? I would have the procedure done in NY state. Also, share your experience if you have had one. Also, no comments about I might change my mind, don't do it because I assure you I have NO DESIRE to have children or raise a family.

OK... About an hour ago.. she woke up screaming in pain.. My wife got up with her... and talked to her.. then called the doctor to see what to do. The doctor asked a few questions.. told them to go to the hospital... and when they got there my daugther said she didnt hurt anymore. Now, she has NEVER been one to exaggerate pain... She is always down playing everything.. so my wife called the doctor back.. he said that they could probably go home and not be seen if she is not in pain at all anymore... Now my question is.. do you think this could possibly be her starting her period? Is that possible at 8 years old? She will be 9 in 3 weeks.. That seems aweful young... and nothing else has been "changing". OR what else do you think could be causing that pain? She was so bad before they left, she could barely even walk... HELP! Thanks

This is probably a silly question but here goes --

I am on Ortho-Tri Lo and have a standard white pack for my pill (from school health center)...and when it closes, there are very small spaces that air can seep through into the pack. Does this affect the pill at all? Or is it ok since they're sealed anyway?

My peroids are usually accompanied by alot of painful cramps. For my last 3 or 4 cycles, i have had no cramping whatsoever. Also, i have had slightly less bleeding. I am grateful for the relief, but i am a little curious as to why all of a sudden things have gotten so easy. I used to have to take Advil or Motrin every 4 to 6 hours, and now i don't need any pain meds. Has this happened to anyone else?

One of my second cousin had her puberty in November 06 at 13 years. After that in Jan she had her next periods which just lasted for 2 days but after that till date she hasnt got her periods. She is obese (60kgs) which is too high for her age. I did tell her to reduce wt. Is meeting a gynaec so early advisable?Cos am afraid that they will initate hormone therapy which I feel is too early for her. I still cant decide. Shud we wait for a few days/months or go to a gynaec immdly??
