My peroids are usually accompanied by alot of painful cramps. For my last 3 or 4 cycles, i have had no cramping whatsoever. Also, i have had slightly less bleeding. I am grateful for the relief, but i am a little curious as to why all of a sudden things have gotten so easy. I used to have to take Advil or Motrin every 4 to 6 hours, and now i don't need any pain meds. Has this happened to anyone else?

You need to see your doctor. Don't get me wrong, no pain is great, but whenever there is a change in your cycle you need to discuss it with your doctor. Myself, I have been recently diagnosed with PCOS, and what tipped me off was the dramatic changes in my cycle. Get checked out...good luck!

It could be alot of reasons. For example the changing of the cycle. Your stress level not so high. It could be the food that you eat changes in the hormon level. When I had menstrual periods mine did it alot. After about two cycles I could expect one that was increasingly painful and last longer periods or times. If you start to feel ill with them as in pain in the ovaries or feeling lightheaded check with your doc to make sure it is nothing more serious.

Cramps are caused by the normal contraction of the uterus. During your cycle the contractions get stronger. Sometimes passing clots can be painful.

A number of factors could be affecting your cycle, including stress, diet, and exercise. Some periods can be more painful than others. It can come and go.

that happend me to before as well. i asked my doc what she thought was going on and she said that it was probably a change in my diet that made my periods easier. for a while i ate out a lot and was stressed because i was traveling a whole lot and working but now i am drinking more water and eating better..its made my periods less painful and everything. just try to think if u have changed ur ways at all..it might have something to do with it.

I had the same problem & my dr told me a lot of it had to do with my caffeine intake. (sodas, especially) Caffeine for some reason does a number on your body and can cause really severe cramps. Also, a woman's body is constantly changing...periods vary from month to month. Anyways, just try cutting out the caffeine around your Mensis and see if that works. Otherwise, it wouldn't hurt to see the dr. just for a regular check up and to express your feelings. Good lucK!

It would sound to me like your hormones may have balanced themselves out better, or you're not as stressed out as you used to be. Nice that you've gotten the relief. Here's to hoping it stays with you.

Your body is continually going through changes.
That is great that your period got more comfortable.
If you have any problems the best thing is to see a doctor, but it sounds like you are fine

you could have changed your diet without noticing. you could be eating better-causing no cramps. this also happens when you get older and if you bleed less. More bleeding=more cramping.

Haha be thankful girl, I had the same thing happen, now my period hasnt happened in 7 week. Chances are your hormones have balanced themselves and everything has calmed down. Have you been more active lately? that definately contributes to it
