Eat properly, and don't take any more pills! They aren't good for you. Exercise can give you energy, believe it or not. And, eat properly and enough to keep your energy up. And, take breaks from your son and make time for yourself. No more pills!

Hopefully you're eating right and getting enough sleep. You should have someone to help you so you can take a break every now and then and go off to do non-Mommy stuff.
Diet pills are really bad for you and might actually mask some other problem. Don't ignore what your body is telling you. You know the only saying that you need money to make money? It's the same thing with energy.
A little exercise can give you an extra boost. You need to jumpstart your metabolism. Something that's very popular where I live is putting the child in a sturdy stroller and pushing the stroller along as you jog or run. Kids love it and it helps keep the pounds off.
If you find that you're still having problems after trying a good diet, some sleep, and some exercise, see your doctor. This is not about B Complex vitamins. Something more serious could be occurring like depression.

Allot of the meds and substances that give you energy give you a quick fix, then you are drained and tired and need something else. If you try get sugar, artificial ingredients alcohol and caffeine from coffee and soda out of your life and eat a healthy diet, with vegetables, whole grains and plenty of water, get some exercise that is enjoyable such as taking the baby for a walk , try to get to bed early (...my god, I sound like my mother...but I wish I listened to her more!),and I don't know if your a working mom or stay at home, but if your home, take a little nap when the baby does....I know all of this sounds boring, but if you have habits that are healthy it will be better for you and your son in the long run. I hope you can enjoy the time you have with him while he is little and the two of you build memories and a good relationship for life! My two boys are all grown up now and I look back and am surprised at how quickly each stage of their child hood was over and at the time it seemed it would last forever! Well, I know this isn't the advice you were looking for but I hope you will look at it as it was given with good intentions. God Bless.

Please don't take energy pills or amphetamines for energy. They can play havoc with your body and your heart. You want to be there for your son, right? Then take care of yourself.
I know it's difficult, but make sure you're getting enough sleep. Eat small frequent meals during the day, containing protein, healthy fat and complex carbs.. Drink enough fluids, not just coffee. Take a multivitamin with iron. Stay away from white foods like sugary snacks, white bread, potatoes, white pasta; that stuff only makes you feel sluggish. Go for whole grains and healthy foods.
Is there a way you can be part of a play group? Maybe you can trade babysitting with another mom or two, once a week, so each of you gets a few free hours 2 out of 3 weeks.
If you're feeling really draggy and tired, ask your doc to check you for anemia or any other problems.

Stop taking these pills, your body has now adjusted to them, which is why you think they do nothing anymore. You are becoming addicted to them.
Your diet is most likely resulting in an insufficient intake of nutrients, which your body needs for getting through the day.
Ease off on the diet, your body is trying to tell you it's not coping.
I lost 30 kilos (that's 66 pounds!!) after each of my three pregnancies, but it takes time and you need to do it properly. I found just by cutting down on sweet treats, eating small but regular balanced meals and not eating after 6pm, I lost all the weight. Just about, still have 10 pounds to go after last baby.
Try taking iron and vitamin B complex supplements, as directed. If you ask your doctor, he will put you on the right dosage. You are most likely lacking iron, which is found in red meat. Without an adequate intake you can quickly feel lethargic and tired. Iron supplies can be diminished through stress and heavy periods as well.
I drink about 4 cups of good coffee daily, the caffeine boost is enough to keep me going. Yes, I'm a coffee lover. I think that with 3 little kids, and given my weight loss, I can at least indulge in a little coffee fetish! LOL :-) You don't need to give up everything you enjoy to loose weight. Latest research has also shown that drinking coffee, like tea, is actually beneficial to your arteries and 3 to 4 cups per day will decrease your risk of heart disease by over 60%. Just don't drink more than that or you risk other health issues.
And ensure you eat balanced, healthy, regular but smaller meals which will give you sustained energy with weight loss.

Sounds like you need more sleep or an improved diet. Energy boosters basically contain caffiene, and the more caffiene you have, the more you need to get the same effect next time. Too much caffiene is really bad for you - it stresses your heart. Stay away from sugar and caffeine - they are just quick fixes which don't solve the underlying problem of not enough sleep or poor diet, and cause more problems than they are worth.

Try some B-Complex vitamins. The ones with vitamin C are good as well. They'll also boost your immune system, so you'll be less likely to get sick while taking care of the little tike.
The pharmacists I work with would NEVER EVER recommend diet pills for any reason. When people want energy, they always go for the B-Complex.

No diet pills! They are not good for you at all and will end up doing more harm. Almost everyone gave really good answers/advice...you need to take as best care of yourself as you can. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water. Being dehydrated will make you feel completely run down. Other than that, good diet, plenty of exercise, plenty of sleep, and make sure you are taking your vitamins. P.S. I have a friend that is a nutritionist and she says, believe it or not, the best vitamins are Flintstones! She says the coated vitamins like One - a - Days or Centrum don't completely dissolve and you just poop them right out. Two Flintstone chewables a day is what she recommends.

The only thing that's going to get you through the day is making yourself a priority (as hard as I'm sure that is - said from someone who was a single mom with a child that old years ago), making sure you get enough rest and eating the best you possibly can.
That said, a formulation I really like that has helped me is Dr Weil's Energy Support Formula available on drugstore.com. It's a blend of adaptogenic herbs. If it can help me, and I have chronic fatigue syndrome, it might help you.
