I was 19, I'm now 22. I could not imagine having sex before that, and probably would have waited longer if I knew all of the emotional drama that comes with it, even though I was mature for my age. With sex comes a whole slew of responsibilities beyond the bumpin' and grindin'...think it through before jumping in the sack with someone and don't do it just because you think everyone else is. I doubt you want to be a teenage mom and having sex before the age of 16 is proven to be a risk factor for cervical cancer. There are also SOOO many emotions that come with sex as well, especially for girls...be cautious, when the time is right you'll know. Good luck, have fun, be safe :)

I was 13 years old the first time I had sex.
I didn't enjoy it the first at all. It got better with time.
I ended up pregnant at 14 and gave birth to my beautiful baby boy at 15. I am now 24 years old and have 2 son's.
Hardest thing in life for me was being 38 weeks pregnant at 15 years old with pregnancy induced hypertension, toximia, and having pre term contractions. And then giving birth. Very hard being a teenage mommy. Maybe you should decide to wait before you have sex. Just a thought. Best Wishes.

I was 18 when I first had sex and am 23 now. It wasn't worth it and I wish I would have waited till I was married to my wonderful husband. The guy I lost my virginity to I really thought I would stay with and marry someday, but luckily I didn't. So even if you think you are in love and will always be together, still don't do it, cuz you never know. At least wait until you are out of high school, many girls in my class when I was in high school got pregnant and a few got some STDs. Don't feel left out about waiting either, my friend waited till she was married and no one ever thought wrong of her. Concentrate on school and having fun, don't worry so much about things your aren't old enough to fully understand.

I was 26 when I first did it, I'm now 27. So it's barely a year. Don't think about doing it just for the sake of joining the bandwagon. You are still too young! Focus yourself on other things. Study hard.
Giving up your virginity to someone who you love and who loves you so much is such a great experience. So don't waste that opportunity. Be patient. Learn the art of waiting for the right time. When it happens by then, you'll know what I'm talking about.

I was 19 and the guy who I was with at the time dump me 4 days later. So at 13 you should wait. I am 31 now and have been hurt many times over due to sex and guys who I thought care about me but wanted only sex. You should wait and enjoy your life. I am married now but I could have done without all the pain having sex caused me.

I was almost 18 at the time. The only man I have ever been with is my husband, and I thank god that that is the case. I am now 21, and we have a 2 year old beautiful daughter.

I had just turned 16 three weeks earlier, and he was 17. We had been dating for 6 months before, and he talked me into it. It hurt like hell!!!
I regret I gave in that day! I so wish to have waited longer, and even though I didnt really enjoy it I continued to sleep with him because I felt obliged to after having said yes once.
I didn't start enjoying it until I started having sex with my recent boyfriend 4 years ago at age 20....

I was 19 and now i'm 24. 13 is too young to be thinking of sex. You have so much other things to worry about then sex. Be your age and have fun. Who cares if other people are doing it. Wait until you find someone that you truely love or you'll regret it trust me. Sex hurts like hell the first time too.
