I've been on the patch for almost two years now, but because of the increased amounts of hormones I've been thinking of switching to the pill. Has anyone had experience with both of these, if so which do you prefer and why? Also, has anyone experienced any serious negative side effects while on the patch?

My mother has just found out that she has Gall stones. She is pretty healthy and she is at the right weight. She has beenn taking prednisone which is a medicine for Asthma for 20 years. She has just recently been taken higher doses. Could prednisone caused her to have Gall Stones?

I had a hysteroscopy today under general anaesthetic. My surgeon told me afterwards that the only thing they saw was that my womb is not the regular "triangular" shape, but that it's "heart" shaped.

Has anyone else heard of this, or got this? What are the implications for having children/fertility? She really didn't explain it that well, and, obviously, it's playing on my mind somewhat!

Any help, advice or information would be much appreciated! Thank you!

With Mirena, I've not had any problems but my mom is making me a lil paranoid about not having a cycle. She says, "A woman's body has to be cleaned out monthly through your menstrual cycle or else you are going to be ill later in life." I've spoken to my doctor about it and he says that isn't true however, at the same time, I can never really get him to explain where that blood is going every month since it DEFINATELY isn't coming out of me. . . .

Anyone know the answer??? And come on guys, no funny business. . . . .

Has anyone taken or currently taking Lovenox Injections as a replacement for coumadin when they've been trying to conceive since coumadin causes some birth defects? If so what's been your experience with it & how have you dealt with the daily injections. I've been doing it almost a year now & have been giving myself shots two times a day. Sometimes I get discouraged, but I know in the long run, if & when I ever get pregnant, it will be well worth it.

I am 19 years old, and a model. I used to have very pretty long, full hair. A couple of years ago, my weight dropped drastically to a very unhealthy state (it's part of being a model). My hair got to be very thin, and now, two years later, it remains thin. I am embarrassed to get my hair cut. My hair just seems very whispy and fragile; the individual strands are very thin. I am confident about my appearance in general, but having my hair this way really gets me down. I can deal with it on a day-to-day level and make it look thicker (my hair is naturally curly, so I can just wear it in spirals sometimes), but I can't grow it long and I can't get it to look really full...and when I run my hands through my hair, I just feel thin sections.

I was diagnosed with an ectopic pregnancy 2 weeks ago. Last Friday I was given 2 shots of methotrexate. I just began bleeding and cramping heavily yesterday and I'm concerned. It is so bad I can't even work, let alone barely stand. Up til yesterday I had no side effects or symptoms. Also today I just got blood taken and was told my HCG level only dropped in half. Is that normal?

When my husband and I have sex, I almost always have to pull out the astroglide for extra lubrication. I am very attracted to him and love to have sex and he also feels the same. So I know that's not the problem. I'm also emotionally connected as well. How can I get my body to stay really wet on its own naturally without having to use lubrication or without having him go down first everytime?

We got together one night before and really get going. I suddenly remember that i'm in mid of my period (14th day). I didn't let him enter me but he rub on my lily and spurt his load on it ?
