Yes. A hysterectomy is the removal of your uterus.
A tubal ligation is to help prevent conception.
Your question is too broad. What are you asking?

Here are a couple links to some information on these:
Hysterectomy- http://www.womenshealth.gov/faq/hysterectomy.htm
Tubal Ligation-
http://www.gynob.emory.edu/familyplanning/tuballigation.cfm
As far as the usage of the two surgeries, the hysterectomy is used to correct health problems, while the tubal ligation is used to prevent pregnancy. A hysterectomy is not allowed to be preformed as a birth control method.

Well i dont know what you are asking really but i had a tubal last april since i dont want any more children. I was only off my feet for a day, of course you must take off the specified amount of time to keep from reopening your incision. Since i have had a laparoscopy before they sorta changed my belly button, but the scar i have is small and not really noticable at all. I hope that helped.

I had a tubal ligation, in which they cut, burned and tied my tubes. It took several months to heal all the way, but it wasn't too painful after the first week. It was an outpatient surgery.
You did not ask for specific information, so this is what I can tell you.
