I am 19 years old, and a model. I used to have very pretty long, full hair. A couple of years ago, my weight dropped drastically to a very unhealthy state (it's part of being a model). My hair got to be very thin, and now, two years later, it remains thin. I am embarrassed to get my hair cut. My hair just seems very whispy and fragile; the individual strands are very thin. I am confident about my appearance in general, but having my hair this way really gets me down. I can deal with it on a day-to-day level and make it look thicker (my hair is naturally curly, so I can just wear it in spirals sometimes), but I can't grow it long and I can't get it to look really full...and when I run my hands through my hair, I just feel thin sections.

Try Rogaine. It's available without a prescription.
You need more protein in your diet for the hair to come back.

Take Omega-3 supplements and eat a balanced diet. You could also get a good haircut that makes it appear fuller and layered.

The best thing that no one knows except me and my uncles is that to keep the hair healthy you have to massage your hair four times a week by combing it and by using your hands.
