if a person had sex with the needed protection (condom) two days ago and now is suffering with a urine infection,and is asked to take a blood test, urine culture test, an ultrasound scan and an abdominal scan, can any of these test proove that the particular woman has lost her virginity?

I've never had a massage before, and am going to have a maternity massage in about 2 weeks. I'm kinda weird about people touching me - not in an outrageous way - I just don't like real touchy feely ppl - especially ppl I don't know. With that said, do you think I should schedule a 30 min or an hour massage? Do you think once I'm getting it I'll enjoy it enough? I just don't want to feel awkward....

I'm 18 and I've just been diagnosed with PCOS and fibroids so my doctor told me that this is all because of an intolerance to insulin so I have to cut down drastically on sugars/carbs/etc. What I don't get is how drastically am I supposed to cut down? I know that the body needs SOME carbohydrates, but I don't really know how much is too much and where I should cut myself off. It's terrible because I'm trying to stick to a diet, but I don't know what I should or shouldn't be eating and it's extremely important for me to get healthy now more than ever because I'm young enough to reverse the effects. Some days I hardly eat anything because I'm practically scared to death that I'll eat the wrong things, and other days I'm so starving I can't stop myself!

So basically, for someone with polycystic ovary syndrome due to an intolerance for insulin, what kind of foods should I be eating/not eating and how much?

this past december, my doctor discovered that i was anemic. the last time i got my period was in november but it was very light. im taking my iron pills and eating healthy food rich in iron, but it is now february and since december i havent had any bleeding when i should be menstruating. im very, very concerned. i know im not pregnant though, so that is absolutely out of the question. is this normal for someone with anemia or should i go see my doctor right away?

it's not vertigo... i know, my dad has that. whenever i stand up from sitting or lying down for a while i always get really dizzy and lose my vision... everything goes black, kinda like i'm passing out (everything fades to black). i have to grab onto something to keep from bumping into anything. i can't see anything, and i'm extremely dizzy. it's embarrassing, especially at work since i'm always getting up and down. everything asks if i'm ok. of course i'm not, but i don't know what to do. does anyone have any ideas what's wrong with me?

when i was younger my mom told me it was because i was underweight. now that i'm older i have a normal body weight but i still have these problems. i've been having this for as long as i can remember, for about 15 years now. this can't be good.

i have been on the pill now for a month and a bit and i skipped a few times so that i wouldnt have my period for my bf visit or for my bday party. is this ok to do? My friend said its ok? plus if i have take skipped a few pills do i have to take it for 7 days and then will be fine to have sex without a condom?? Any advice please

today my little sister called me and told me she was pregnant. She told me that she hasn't taken a test yet, but she knows that she is because her last period was really heavy and then she hasn't had another period since then (october). She has been know to be a hypocondraic, so I am just thinking she is doing it because I am expecting in June. I know that I am being selfish by not believing her, but does this happen, I mean can you just know that you are pregnant???

I am looking into getting the Mirena IUD as my method of birth control, but I am concerned about how it might be affected by sex. My husband and I tend to get a little rough during sex (mainly deep/hard/fast penetration). I have heard of spotting from sex with people using the ParaGuard, but does the same hold true for Mirena (being a soft flexible plastic)? Will rough sex dislodge the IUD or cause it to tear the uterus any? If you have had any experience with sex affecting the IUD please tell your story. Right now I am debating between getting the Mirena IUD and the Implanon (implant) for my birth control method.

when i was 11 i was sexually abused by a 56 yr old man. when i told the police about it, i was scared and didnt tell them everything, n what i didnt tell them was probly the most important thing...(a) he grabbed my hand and made me touch his...."male bits" and (b) he fingered me.....

does this count as rape or just severe sexual abuse?

(i didnt know what category this should of gone in, but seein as im a girl womens health will do)
