implanon help?

i have a 3 year implanon and am pretty sure that it has been in longer than it should be. Could anyone tell me what the effects are of this. i am currently waitin for an appointment to have it taken out

I had the same problem last year.It was 4 months over due to be taken out.There are no side effects . it s just not as strong as it was.Also when they take it out you might have to wait until you have at least 1 period before they can replace it.

There would be no side effects of this other than it will not be working any longer.
