Women's Health - December 2006

In the past few days I have noticed my skin breaking out more than usual. I actually never break out until my period is coming and even at that only have 1 or 2 pimples. I'm not stressed or eating anything out of the ordinary. Any ideas?

I'm 5'7 i'm like 127lbs and I just measured my breast size on a bra converter to figure out what size I am and it said a 32 AA.... I know it seems so shallow to be obessed with this but it doesn't seem normal for someone my height and weight to have a 32 AA.... I just wanted to know some other womens sizes at my age so I can see if I'm normal. because I don't know why I'm not growing like all the other girls in my grade that are all at least a B or C even DD. Argggghh I just feel very frustrated about this for a reeaaallly long time. I know some people are slow at growing b.oobs but I'm feeling like my body forgot to turn on the puberty button. >.>
K this is turning into more of a 'lets talk about my feelings' then a question so I'll shut up now.

I have three kids, all girls. My oldest daughter is 26 and she is 5'2. My second daughter is 21 and she is 5'6. My youngest daughter is 15 and she is 6'0. She has been taller than me since she was in fifth grade. She is nice and healthy. She weighs around 150pounds. Even when she was in grade school she was as tall or taller than her teachers. She is already taller than me and her father, we're both 5'10
Has anyone else had a girl that grew so fast?

Hi girls, I have a v.embarrissing question to ask about pms, alot of girls I know say that something like a peice of meat that looks like a "fish" comes out when the period is about to end, what is that???? & why every month?? did anyone else have this before??

I just started on the pill, and this is day 3 of the Sunday start.

I took the pill today exactly 20 minutes later than normal...

Will this affect its function? Or would it moreso affect it if it was more like one hour, or a day late?

My latest test results show me having a 16.3 level when the norm for my age is 5.0-7.0. Recently i missed a period...i am two 2 1/2 weeks late and have taken 5 HPT test and they are negative and a blood test which also came back negative...i have some symptoms of pregnancy and i wanted to know if the thyroid has anything to do with me missing my cycle...thanks.

I have had sex several times with my boyfriend... when I first did it with him which was about 3 yrs ago. I never bled or hurt. Like most girls say it does, it has never happened to me. One of my friends told me if you haven't bled (in other words popped my cherry) I am still a virgin. Is that true? Also if it is true, then can I get pregnant if for some reason he messes up and goes in me?

I'm on ativan for Anxiety Attacks for over 1 month now and have taken it about 6 times. Im worried that the doctor will make me start taken it on a daily basis but i dont want to become addicted or relient on it! When i take it though i've been getting dizzy and become very drowsey which isnt the best becuase usually im at work or school when they occur and the medication is needed. Should i see the doctor about changing medications or should i just live with the side effects?? HELP

My sister is always getting urinary infections, and from different bacteria types(so its not the same that come back). The maximum time without infections is one month, and that is after treatment with antibiotics. She went to an Urologist and the ultrasounds and all the other exams are ok. She is very clean and a virgin. We don’t know what is happening!!! Can someone help???

No it's not scabbies, lice or an STD. It's like itchy with little tiny bumps everywhere on my body. Is it possible to be alergic to someones sweat or is it because he makes me too hot...like my body temperature??? If it is an alergy can I develope an immunity and/or find an anti-histamine???

I want to get my sister who is 11 to lose a little weight. She eats unhealthy and not very active. I can't stand watching her getting made fun of ALL the time and she getting upset about it. My parents don't like putting her on a diet because of their own reasons but how can she lose some weight? Also, don't ask about my parents, it's a very personal reason that you wouldn't understand.

...So I'm certain this isn't recommended and I'm not suggesting I'll try this, but myself and a friend of mine were having a debate on what this would do.
The question is this:
If you were on a birth control like Ortho Tri-Cyclen, where there are three weeks of active pills and one week of inactive pills, if on the fourth week you were to start a fresh pack of the active pills (rather than the inactive pills) what would happen? Would it hault your period? Would it still be an effective means of birth control? Would it mess up your system?

lets say i were to run for 30 days, 3x a week for about 20 mins. How many lbs around would i lose? and if i ate moderately like odd bad snack here and there but lots of water and good protein how much would i drop? oh and right now i weigh 143 and im 5'9
