Why is this happening?

Your period could be delayed for many reasons and it may be coming soon. I do this sometimes as well but I have had three kids so no telling with that one :) if you are still getting pains by the end of the week and no period make an appointment

Yes i get this all the time too..I even start getting cramps up to a week and a half before my period even comes and then days after its over..its normal

Cramps can come days/weeks before or after a period. It's nothing to worry about, just keep checking to make sure your cycle is semi-normal each month. If it's not, visit a doctor, you may have a treatable hormone imbalance.

Is there a possibility you could be pregnant? Sometimes, you will have period symptoms when you are actually pregnant. It has happened to me twice! Or it is possible that you may just start a little later this month than normal.
