i have just been tested for pelvic inflammitory disease and am waiting for the test results to come back. will my partner have too be treated aswell i know he cant get p,i,d but if i have an infection will he have it too i know it may sound a silly question, i have been with him for 5 yrs and have 2 kids we dont sleep about so i know it isnt an std! thanks

I'm on birthcontrol right now. I use the patch and it's okay but I've heard a lot of bad things and worry that it will effect me later. Which method do you use right now? What is good and bad about it? Has one used the v-ring, I think it's called? How does work and feel? Just wondering if I should change my method?

I had the injection at the end of June and my first period was on time and normal, but my second one which started in July is really weird. I've been on for nearly 5 weeks now and there's hardly any blood but it's really dark in colour (sorry if I'm grossing anyone out), I've spoke to my contraceptive nurse and she says its not uncommon. It's really frustrating me, does anyone have experience on this subject? Is it really normal?

My doc says it's through the menopause i'm 49 don't have any other symptoms, but my joints really ache especially my wrist at night i get woken up. i try pain killers but they don't relly help

My cousin recently started her cycle, it wasn't heavy like regular times, it was "very light", Her mom was very worried becuase she knows her daugther is starting to grow, her breast are even growing!!, and she started like 5 months ago to wear deodorant.
She is mentally a gilr but is it possible that at that age a girl can have her cycle that soon??? Or should she see a doctor, this isn't normal for me and I am worried.
