The blood from your period is red because it, like all blood, has hemoglobin in it and when exposed to the air, becomes red. How much water you drink has little to do with the color. Unless you dehydrate yourself, in which case the blood flows more slowly, ages and turns brown in the process.

No, blood is red regardless of how much water you drink. H2O will help with bloating though!
