Otsego is wrong....it is treatable but not caused by a virus....it's caused by LH and FSH hormone imbalances.....it is a disease that will never go away, but using birth control and other hormone regualtors...it should not be a problem. I think I might have it....i do have cysts, so I've been doing ALOT of research!

One of my friends from work has it. She's has one cyst removed and possibly more to come the doctors said. She has to have lots of tests done and might have to go through fertility treatments to have babies someday. She has pain in her abdomen a lot and terrible periods. She seems to do pretty well most of the time though. Look it up online. You'll find a lot of information.

I had it and if left untreated can turn into Uterine, Ovarian, or Cervical cancer. Mine ended up being Stage 1F adenosarcoma.

Heard of it ... caused by a virus. Treatable. Any female who has had an STD should be checked...pap smear.
