My cousin recently started her cycle, it wasn't heavy like regular times, it was "very light", Her mom was very worried becuase she knows her daugther is starting to grow, her breast are even growing!!, and she started like 5 months ago to wear deodorant.
She is mentally a gilr but is it possible that at that age a girl can have her cycle that soon??? Or should she see a doctor, this isn't normal for me and I am worried.
Please give me your best answer, I will really apreciate it
thanks!!

This is very normal. Both of my daughters started before age 10. Make sure that she is aware of what is going on & have a talk with her about sex. If she is old enough to menustrate, she is old enough (physically) to have a child. If mom is still worried though, you may want to go to the Dr. & check that everything is alright.

Holy crap is there something in the water now a days? girls getting their first periods at age 8 (dang I have a 6 year old) and getting boobs? hard to believe but yes its true, it could be she is hitting puberty a bit to early!!! Did her mom start early? Even though its a normal thing to go through, at this age I would talk to the girl about it. Ask her if any of her friends have started their periods or begun puberty, getting boobs etc. I would take her to the doctor just to talk to the doctor and have the doctor talk to the girl a bit also (even away from the mom the doc could help the girl out with questions she may not want to ask mom about and friends are not helpful if they dont know what you are talking about.) plus the doc can help the girl understand more about puberty and what all happens and stuff( n 8 year old may have a hard time realizing what the changes and body stuff that happens around this time are all about.) Good luck

She needs to be seen by a doctor very soon. It does happen sometimes that a girl starts developing that young, but it can be very stressful on a young body. She will also need you guys to be supportive because it may be hard for her to deal with all of this at her age. None of the other little girls have their periods, or have breasts yet, and the boys may start to tease her. I was the first in my class to develop breasts and get my period too, so I know.

People mature at different rates. While the age of 8 is a little young, it's not at all unheard of. I have a friend whose daughter started her cycle at 8. I don't think there's really anything for you to worry about.
Since she has begun her cycle, she needs to start seeing a good gyn, but that's her mother's department. Nevertheless, there's still nothing to worry about. It's just a sign of physical maturity.

It is not unheard of for an eight year old to start puberty. Any girl showing the first signs of puberty be she 8, 13, or 18, should see a doctor for a baseline exam.

I am sure that everything is alright, girls can start their cycles as young as 6yrs old.. Her body is just growing at a faster rate, I would have your Aunt take her to the Dr for a check up and make sure that everything is growing normally...

Yes. It is OK for an 8 year old to start her period. My friend started almost that Early, so don't worry. Don't think that anythings wrong with her just because of that.
