My Dr prescribed a low estrogen and prog. pill for me (based on a family history of breast cancer) and it made me curious if the lower dosages are as effective as the older higher dose pills.

I heard that you need to use other birth control for a few months till the pill clears out of your system. Is it unsafe to try to conceive right away after getting off the pill? Or is an intermediate stage recomended?

My friend is on a liquid diet and I am not sure if that is healthy. Basically all she does is drink water with a bit of lemon juice in it. She said that shes been on it for only a week and is seeing results but I am not sire if she should continue.

I had chlamydia over a year ago but got it taken care of, could this have anything to do with it?? I've taken 3 pregnancy tests and all were negative. The most recent one was about two weeks ago.

I have a situation...I have 2 children one which had a liver transplant when he was 4 months old, due to a VERY rare liver disease called tyrosinemia type 1, we were told if we ever had any more children that there was a 1 in 4 chance that they would also have this condition. I have spoken to some families that also have other children with this disease and 2 families of 4 have 3 children with this.......so, would you take the chance of having another baby that would possibly have the same thing......for the people that know about NTBC, it didn't work for my son and I really don't have much faith in it for a treatment.

Recently i have been getting red/pink itchy splotchy patches on my butt. The skin is coming off of the splotches and they are starting to spread.Some of the spots are made up of lots of little bumps. I have never had sexual intercourse with anyone before, and i have no idea wat is going on! Help please!!!

Also i've always had big pink spots of skin irritation right below the hips on the side, but i dont think its the same thing.

I was on antibiotics for a UTI and I stopped them last week. I was supposed to get my period on Sunday. Im on birthcontrol and I still had unprotected sex while on the antibiotics. I was on BC for six months. Then got off for three months. Then just got back on with this pack i just now finished. Im not sure whats going on. If you read my previous question also, maybe you could help with both. Thanks.

My mother won't let me shave my legs. Or at least a year a go she didn't! I am in the middle of Junior High, and I want to wear skirts with out leggings. I don't know how to talk to her because I don't know what to say and I really don't feel comfortable asking her. Is it not healthy to not shave your legs at twelve? I just need a lot of answers! I only experinced cramping the first day and spotting for the first few hours. After that everything was normal. Every now and then when I use the bathroom theres something in the toilet that looks like small pieces of something in the toilet. Then today I went to the restroom and I was peeing when I looked into the toilet and there was this mass of something hanging outside of me. It was skin colored and I took toilet paper and wiped it off of me and looked at it. It wasnt bloody. It was rather slimy and it also had some black substance inside (i used toilet paper to look at it and pull it open). I went to wipe again and there were little pieces of something falling out of me. And then there was a clump of the substance again hanging out of me. Has anyone ever experienced this after a colposcopy? Is there something I should do? Im scared and confused.

I had a baby 5 months ago... I breastfeed him and I am on my period. I have never bled this much before, even after giving birth to any of my kids. I had a tampon in last night, a pad and I woke up 3 hours later in a puddle of blood.. When I remove a tampon Its full of clots... I am getting nervous. I have gone through about 30 tampons (completely soaked through) in about 2 days... also a 24 pack of pads... I have no insurance so I dont want to jump the gun and go to the doc... What do you think? Should I worry? Please help! I am nervous! Thanks!

i'm a procrastinator and a late sleeper. but i just had a baby and i would really like to be able to wake up early and get stuff done. i always feel lazy and mad at myself at the end of the day. i go to bed every night saying that i'm going to get up tomorrow and do this list of things i have to do but it never gets done. help!!!

ok it really is gross and we are girls and it just started like earlier i dont know if she was trying to push it out but she pooped right on my couch. and she just laughed it off like it was nothing. does she ahve a problem or is she doing it on purpose? i mean shes really pretty so its not like shes butt ugly and dorky. but its gettting embarassing
