Make sure that the blood is coming from your vagina. I had this happen once, and, although I was having vaginal intercourse, I had ruptured the sphincter muscle just inside the anus. I could not believe how much blood there was.
Turned out the muscle had been weakened during childbirth and was going to go at some point. Especially if you've have kids, that is what it could be.
If you're sure it's vaginal, see a doctor. You could have cysts in the vagina or on an ovary that are rupturing with the pressure.

Agreed...go to the doctor. I had a bf that was too big for me, and sex hurt, so if he wasn't really careful, if he got a bit too carried away, I spotted sometimes. But bleeding like that is not normal.

That is definitely not normal. I would see a doctor. You may have some type of infection or STD.
