I just had an athletic physical myself and they measure your height, your weight, you pulse, your blood pressure, they listen to your heart to make sure you don't have any irregular heat beat, they check you for stomach hernias, they make you bend down and walk like a duck to make sure all your leg muscles are working properly, and they check your spinal column to make sure your spine is in good condition.

They wont. The Dr. may press on your abdomen a couple times though and from outside your clothing. Dont worry. The whole physical is over in like 5 minutes.

no that is what a gynecologist does- not a Dr for an athletic physical checks. He want to make sure your healthy to withstand the sport- nothing to do with your sexual organs.

It is not necessary to do a gynecological exam for a school athletic exam.

If your doctor wants to do one, you can decline. All you have to do is say "no".

But, if you're 18 or over, you may want to consider finding a gynecologist, because you should start having yearly exams.

I don't believe they do that to girls. They will check your blood pressure, weight, and ask you a few questions. It will be okay.

probably not. they only do that when you go to the gyno. i just had a physical for work. they just did blood pressure, eye sight, tempurate, weight, and asked me questions about how i felt. it's easy!!

good luck.

if its just a physical, they usually don't. especially if you go to an open one at your school. if you dont feel comfortable with theml ooking down there, just say so. they'll respect that, they're professionals.
