The mother rejected one of her twins. Did not want the boy twin from the time of conception..Twins were born, she would only hold Girl twin. After a year and a half, she gave the boy twin to the fathers mother. Now she has nothing to do with the boy twin. Not even a picture in the house. HELP!

She is the best mother to her other children. It was just this boy twin, she never had feelings for.

When she got pregnant was she on good terms with the father? Did a male in anyway mess which her mentally?

She may harbor ill feelings towards males and thus did not want the male child.

I know a young woman who because she found out that she got pregnant by and married a man who had molested one of his own family members and went to prison because of it.....when the baby was born she in no way wanted to raise it. But she now has another child that she is raising and does not resent this child.

Emotions are very weird and it could be any number of physiological reasons she did this.
I would talk to a psychiatrist and see if they can tell you or at least suggest a reason why.

I'm not an expert but what about post-partum depression or some type of mental illness? What about the child being the product of incest or rape?

It is part of postpartum depression. Maybe mom wasn't ready to be a mom yet, or the guy causes her a lot of problems, and now she has this baby to him. Whoever this pertains to, they should see a psychologist. It can be fatal to the chilren.
