Ok I sic myself up thinking im gona put a tampon in then I do it and I chicken out thinking im goin to hurt myself or it will sting or im putting it in wrong I know am so scared of putting one in but i want to go swimming again and im not spending my summer like this i always have long periods that last like 10 day with all heavy flows....so ya I need to lean how to put one in and tip any one?

I have just been to the toilet and had a wee. When I wiped there was blood, when I looked down the toilet there was clotted jelly like lumps of blood at the bottom. There was about seven of them and they were a bit bigger than a marble in size. The bleeding is light now. I am not due on my period for another fortnight. Does anybody know what might have caused this bleeding.?

is there a certain amount (in measure) of blood that comes out consistantly every month? Like for instance: imaginary example: If the amount of blood that should come out is 10 units and the woman usually bleeds for 5 days, that would mean an average of 2 units per day, but it would vary by day by flow (light, medium, heavy)??? The reason I am asking is because my flow is usually 5 days. Day #1 was normal flow, then day #2 and #3 were real heavy, and today is day #4 and I am just lightly spotting and showing signs of white(normal discharge) on my tampon...... ???

I took Depo Provera shots for six years and never had a period during that time. I decided I wanted to switch methods because the doctor said I had taken it for too many years, so the day I was due to get another shot, I went and got the Nuva Ring. I used it for a month and a half and didn't like it so I took it out. Since that time me and my husband of 7 years have been using the pull out method so I could get back on some kind of normal cycle and we're waiting to plan a pregnancy a little while longer. All this happened in February and since then I have had a period every month but they are like dried up brown blood but last about a week each time. This month I had two which were only 11 days apart. Am I still adjusting to long term birth control? If so, will this last much longer? I plan to see a doctor but couldn't get an appointment till next month and this is bothering me until then.

Ok I want to swim but I got my period me and my friend were going to go to the pool but I dont know how to use a tampon I tryed to do it yesterday but I hurt and I started freaking out because it felt weird and it was hard I fot so scared! I'm in need of one!!! My doctors wrote me a conformation lettter and my social worker checked to make sure I was able to use my medicaid card. So far I can't find a doctor to give me a b.r. because of medicaid.

Im 19 yrs old and i love to donate blood, every 56 days im there! ive done it 6 times and i think it helps a lot of people,but my family have told me that they watched the news once and they said something about donating blood and how doing it too many times when you get older it will hurt your system or something like that,now they dont want me to do it anymore but i really dont know what to think...any information will help..

I'm a 19 year old female and I've been having problems every since I started my period when I was in elementary school. For some reason, every brand of pad I buy, I can't wear and it irritates me really bad. I've tried several upon several brands and I've even tried putting powder on them and it doesn't even help. I also can't even wear panty liners. So, all I wear is tampons and ever since Jr. High, I've only used Tampons. I'm scared of getting TSS . Please help! What can I do?!?
