I'M only 19 and I get frequent migrains. How can I avoid them so that they aren't as strong?

i quit smoking on Christmas day and just now today i gave in and smoked a cigarette i thought i would give in sooner but i held out so is it normal that 2 weeks later i could not fight it any more???and if you have quit smoking how long before you were completly done??

i used to take several pills more or less every weekend for around 2 years. i stopped 4 years ago. i also used to take speed, either powder or paste. what are the long term effects? i'm already noticing my memory is useless.

I woke up this morning with a huge crick in my neck and I don't what to do except sit here and endure the pain. Is there anything I can do to relieve this crick?

i had it recently and i heard that once you get it you always have it in your body. is that true? my nieces and their mom get it all the time and the mother has it so bad its moved to here kidneys and such..if this is true i need to find out how to prevent this from getting worse for all of us.

that i can never get a reliable reading from it, it makes me uptight and nervous just looking at it and when it pumps up my arm i get high readings.

how can i calm myself to get a proper reading? i tried deep breathing but i find that doesn't do a single thing...

I swear, not a day goes by that I'm on the tread mill or lifting weights when someone decides to drop an air bisquit. Can't these people use the bathroom before they workout? I think these people are taking advantage of the fact that there are numerous people around so the culprit is hard to determine.

my tongue ring is irrated but i dont know if its infected. i've had it done for over 3 months. only the underneath of my tongue is a lil red but the top is fine. it also hurts a lil to play with it. IS it infected and how do i get rid of the redness????

I have been working at an ER for a few months now and I have noticed that the majority of people who come in don't really have life threatening emergency's. Why do you think this is? Most of the people who come in aren't really dying or even that sick. Do you think that most people are just paranoid?

I lost my sense of smell COMPLETELY a few years back. I have sinus problems and have gone for an operation, something along the lines of a deviated septum. This didn't help. It sort of releaved the congestion, but absolutely no sense of smell. I don't do drugs (especially the nasal variety) and do everything else in moderation. I am thinking of going the homeopathic route..

I've been getting them on the left side for over 2 years now and docs haven't been much help in finding out what the problem is. I went for an ultrasound about a year ago to check for ovarian cysts but they didn't find anything. The pain's also spread to my side/back (whereas it used to be at the front only) and I've heard that can be a sign of kidney problems. But when I told my doc this, she said she doesn't think it's kidneys and is sending me for another ultrasound incase a cyst has now developed. She says they can (roughly) check the kidneys in that scan if I'm worried so I've agreed to have it again but, in the meantime, I have to wait until March for the scan while still in pain. Has anyone had the same problem?

Today I got very badly sunburt, It dosnt hurt but I have a pool party which I have to go to tomorrow at 10:00am, its now 9:24pm, What do I do to get rid of it? Anything I can use around the house? Ive tried some body creams and only a little bit of cold water, Im not sure but It has to be gone by tomorrow!
