I'm not or anything, but I was just wondering. What bodily harm can it do to you.

And if you are bulimic but you get help and stop, can you get better?

I have a few elderly neighbors who I don't know and who keep to themselves, so I don't feel comfortable approaching them to ask this, and was hoping someone here would know:
One of these women is obese (65+) and uses a cane some of the time. My question is, why would someone only need to use a cane part of the time, instead of daily?
Another one is 80+ and used a walker at least since I moved here about a year and 1/2 ago. She also has a major hunchback. Last summer, something happened to her and an ambulance came and then she had a live-in nursemaid for about a month. In the middle of the night, I heard her moaning and groaning, so she must've been in bad shape. Lo and behold, once the nursemaid left, the old woman has been out and about daily and walking on her own without a cane or walker and doing her own shopping and housework. She still has the hunchback. The question is, does anyone have any idea how she got to no longer needing her walker?

The Dr. told me that I had a mild bacteria in my stomach. He proscribed me some antibiotics and this pill for nausea but i can't afford it. My stomach pain isn't all that bad. I just have real bad nausea. What can I do? Mind you I have been dealing with nausea for the past 4 months off and on. Help please.

I've never been a person with a lot of headaches. I've always had them very rarely. but lately, for about a month or two, I have had very painful ones. When they occur they seem to happen in concentrated areas of my head, like in the back or in one area up front. It's about time my wisdom teeth came out, but I've not noticed any pain in my gums at all. No soreness or any change whatsoever. What's causing these sudden headaches?

I suffer terribly with hot/burning feet at night and have done now for over 25 years. I read on a website that it can be caused from soddium sacharin, which I did find in diet pops and sweetex, both of which I use. I changed my sweetners and made sure my pop did not contain soddium sacharin, this did help for a while but the restlessness and burning sensation has came back with a vengance. My GP has no suggestions and says its a sign of good circulation, this does not comfort me when I am still awake at silly oclock looking for a cold spot to put my feet on!!. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx

For some reason or another my doctor and his nurse told me to let the suboxone tablets desolve under my tounge. They kept stressing not to swallow them. Why is that?Is there more of an intense effect if you let them desolve under your tounge or swallow them?Or is it because they might make me sick or something?I've never heard of this kind of thing.

For some reason my belly button just reaks. I don't know why. I clean it everyday with soap and water and it still stinks. There's kind of like a wet discharge that dries in to a brown crust-like substance. I know...sick.

I'm just wondering has anybody ever experienced this and what is it from? Why does it happen?

Hi everyone! I was hoping you might be able to help answer my question... I've been having asthma problems lately (from a sinus infection and unseasonably warm weather). I'm on Prednisone, Flovent, and Albuterol treatments (all from my primary care) for my asthma alone, in addition to about 4 other medications for allergies and my sinus infection. My question is, if I have to go into the ER tonight for asthma symptoms (I had to go in 2 days ago too, but left before I was seen because I had a doctors appointment with my primary early in the morning and there would have been a 6 hour wait, therefore i would have been seen quicker just going to my existing appointment), would the doctors or nurses think I was "faking" or just having an "anxiety attack" (even though I do not suffer from anxiety) given the following information:

-I was not presently wheezing (although I was earlier)
-It feels laborous to breathe and I'm tired from breathing (you can visibly see me struggling)
