It could be rosacea which is a condition that causes reddening of various parts of the face, usually accompanied by small spots or eruptions.See your GP about this as it can be alleviated. It could also be a condition where the blood vessels of the face are near the surface of the skin and produce the red effect you are describing.

this condition is called acne rosacea... it can be treated with topical ointments and creams... tea tree oil is meant to be good (diluted or in cream form) if it continues or becomes troublesome then go and see your gpwho will probably prescribed some antibiotics....the treatment with these maybe lengthy though so try homely remedies such as creams etc first....good luck

I believe the condition is called 'slapcheek' - quite common but I have to confess, I have no idea what can be done - but I'm sure there is something!
