Why do doctors perscribe people who have cancer and people who have other diseases? I don't know how they get it , I'll just assume by the pharmacy. When they get their perscription , why is actual marijuana? The same marijuana the drug cartels deal with?

Why can't they find out the exact chemicals in it and form it into a pill? By doing this not as many , teenagers will be getting high.

Many teenagers buy and sell , Perscribed marijuana is legal in California. It should be illegal or it should atleast be formed into a pill.

Problems could be, pain or slight discomfort or a feeling, not to raise the voice due to the congestion. After speaking for about 1-2 hours, continuous, would the throat hurt, if normal AND if you had a throat congestion?

Also, can this throat congestion be stuck right in the middle of the neck/throat and reduce your voice?

I love to run, but if I smoked, I would have a very hard time enjoying my favorite hobby. Smoking is responsible for a lot of health problems. Every year thousands of people die because of lung cancer or other tobacco related illnesses. Everyone in the world comes in contact with smoke from a cigarette at least once in their lifetime, whether it is at a restaurant or at work. Millions of people are addicted to smoking, and thousands more become addicted every year. Cigarettes and other tobacco products are everywhere. Most of the addicted smokers started when they were young. The new laws ban smoking in public places such as bars and restaurants, is a smart move by the states. Cigarette companies are also no longer allowed to advertise on buses or trains, billboards, TV, and in many magazines. We all know that smoking is detrimental to an individual’s health by polluting one’s lungs, yellowing teeth, and causing bad breath. It is a very expensive habit since prices for cigarettes go up every year and more and more people can not afford them. Smoking not only is harmful to an individual, the smoke from a cigarette directly affects the people around the smoker. On every pack of cigarettes there is a warning from the Surgeon General that says something about cigarettes being hazardous to your health, so why do people continue to smoke them? Some people, especially girls, start smoking because they think it may help keep their weight down. Another reason people start smoking is because their family members do.
There are so many bad things that happen when you smoke. Bad skin. Bad breath. Bad-smelling clothes and hair. Reduced athletic performance. Lung disease, Cancer and death. If you smoke are stop today, it will increase your opportunity for a better health. But sometimes people have a hard time quitting. Keep busy doing things that make it hard to smoke, like working in the yard, washing dishes and being more active. Avoid situations that tempt you to smoke, like drinking coffee or alcohol. and tell family members and friends that you need to quit smoking and need their support. If your husband, wife, son or daughter smokes, ask them to quit with you. Smoking is a very bad habit, and it is hard to enjoy life when you you smoke.
So why do people smoke?

I usually get about 5-6 sore throats every winter, sometimes more, and a few throughout the year. I was wondering if removing my tonsils would help this and also if removing them could be an elective surgery, since I don't believe I have tonsilitis.

She borrowed a friend's stinky shoes and now her feet smell all the time. Even after she washes them. It eventually goes away, but comes back again when she wears shoes, especially THOSE shoes (which she won't return). Have you any suggestions on what I can do about this, short of removing her feet? They smell like soggy Cheeto farts. Not pleasant.

I just picked up my new pair of glasses tonight and whoa...I'm having a terrible time seeing. The tech at the vision center advised that I "start fresh" tomorrow morning (yeah, like I listen) and on't go back and froth beteween glasses as the muscles in my eyes need to adjust to the new prescription. True or bogus? Should I be OK in a day or two? I'm nervous to drive like this. It's been four years since I've had new glasses so yes, my prescription has changed a little.

I do, and any dead skin like my cuticles, and I lick my blood up clean just so I dont bleed everywhere. Also when I have snot or boogers, I pick my nose and eat that. And my earwax. I mean, if there is no trash around and people close by, I cant flick them! So I eat them! What's so wrong with that?

How many people know that in order to donate vital organs to another person, you must be alive (although braindead) but alive and on life support? Many people do not realize that you must be alive to donate, and I am curious to see what people actually think happens?
