Usually the first indication for me is a feeling of heat in my ears. Then I begin to hear a crackling noise, just like static electricity, but with no external cause.

Then the hot feeling spreads to my cheeks, and they go kind of numb as well. At the same time, I begin to sweat a lot from my forehead, and it feels icy.

Then my vision becomes involved. There are a few manifestations that are completely different from each other...

Sometimes I'll see black spots (pinpricks), which will develop a corona of bright white. And then my vision will white out (grow extremely bright) entirely just before I pass out.

Or I will get a greying out of my peripheral vision that closes in to a smaller and smaller tunnel until going completely grey, and passing out.

Sometimes I have had my vision grey out completely, and still remain conscious. I will hear sounds around me, although they appear distorted (stretched out, sort of) and I can physically feel, although I don't have much control over my body. If I try to stay upright my muscles slowly lose the ability to hold me up and I will sink slowly to the floor. At the same time that this is going on, I will have the hot and crackling ears, hot cheeks and the sweaty and cold forehead.

I have passed out from a white-out incident for a couple of minutes before coming around. A grey out incident usually lasts a little less time, maybe just a minute. I am usually capable of getting mobile again, and taking myself off to bed (if only crawling), where I can lay down for a half hour and be back to normal.

But the grey out while conscious incidents take the most out of me, in that I will usually feel too weak to move for about 10 minutes afterwards. And it will usually leave me feeling weak for the rest of the day, even if I nap for an hour afterwards

When I'm about to pass out, I start to black out, and sometimes it feels like it's harder to hear things too. Most of the time I can sit down (or in extreme situations, lie down and put my legs up) so that more blood can get to my head, and then I'm fine.

you feel really dizzy, your eyelids become heavy and everything fades to darkness. its hard to see, and then your head spins. after you faint you don't remember much, so its kinda hard to explain.
