yesterday i was practicing my cheerleading routine which involes getting on the ground pretty fast and you kick backwards. when doing that i managed to get my pinky toe and the one next to it stuck in my fan, which was on. it already hurt because the spaces are really hard to get into but to make matters worse, the revolving part of the fan was slowly breaking off my toenail and getting closer twords my actual toes. now the large majority of my toenails are off, i have a bruise from the last 2 toes all the way down to around the center of my foot (which is quite large). my toes is now 2 shades of blue with purple red and white around also. do you think its broken??? i have no idea what to do.

Has anyone else here found UCLA Medical offices to be totally inept and disorganized? Everytime I have to deal with anyone at UCLA Medical I have to hold for 15-20 minutes before anyone picks up the phone and then the people I speak to are rude and don't know anything. UCLA Medical might have a reputation for being one of the top in the nation but I think they got that destinction because they have a good PR department, not because they deserve it.

Just read that since 1998 , the average nicotine yield of most brands of cigarettes has increased by at least 10%!! Kool LIGHTS has increased by a whopping 30%!!!! 92 out of the 116 brands has increased the nicotine.....especially in the brands that attract young and minority smokers!! Damn....no wonder I can't quit!!! Moms, Dads.....gotta preach more to your kids!!! They're out to get them!!!

I have been fortunate to never have one but have seen pictures of them and it is just a turn off to me. I always took it to be the norm for civilized people but it seems to be uncommon in most parts of the world.

The media is constaly promoting beauty to this extreme? Do you think is worth to spend all your savings in order to look younger?? or do you think that the natural beauty is better?

I have to say that there are cases where people really need it (e.g. If you had an accident or if you have a malformation).

What is your opinion?
