its technical term is "the one cheek sneak".
just lean slightly to the preferred side and let it out, slowly if you wish do be undetected. an excellent method for stealth farts. the only risk is a slight follow through which is easily fixed.

I was never any good at geometry so I couldn't say.
In fact I can't really understand the question since I don't think it matters and certainly no risks, the risk would be if you didn't pass the gas. But I am sure that you will get a lot of silly/crazy answers that this question deserves

No there aren't any risks that i know of it's better to pass gass at a 90 degree angle.

Walk someplace with your head tilted. You will create an angle with your head against the gas you pass.
