The media is constaly promoting beauty to this extreme? Do you think is worth to spend all your savings in order to look younger?? or do you think that the natural beauty is better?
I have to say that there are cases where people really need it (e.g. If you had an accident or if you have a malformation).
What is your opinion?

Is true! The amount of money spent having plastics surgeries could be used to buy food for people in Africa!! people don't realise that having plastic surgeries make them look fake! Like ugly plastic dolls!!

There are two types of plastic surgery: cosmetic and restorative.
If you go for “cosmetic” surgery, its nothing but an exercise in vanity, and the TV and beauty magazines have you by the short and curlies, and you are giving up your hard earned moolah to these “surgeons” so that you may have a delusion of being “beautiful enough”. I say delusion because you are beautiful enough. There are 30 billion women in the world who does not look like supermodels, and only 8 who does. You don’t need to look like them to be beautiful and attractive.
The second one is a lot more acceptable, and when you need plastic surgery to fix a health problem (Think jaw operations here, or maybe port-wine stain removal) it’s not a problem. This is not as a result of vanity or the illusion you are not good enough, but the surgery is there to assist you to live and function as a normal member of society.
If the reason for the surgery is just so that you can be “prettier” because you’ve seen too many episodes of Extreme Makeover and read too many issues of (name your fave fashion mag here), you are more in need of spiritual and/or psychological guidance than a surgeon.

If you've got the money and it'll actually make you happy (and they don't botch the operation) then I suppose I can't see the harm. Obviously Michael Jackson or Jocelyn Wildenstein are examples of taking things WAY to far, but a little bit here and there is no big deal I'd say. Frankly I could think of far better things to spend my money on, but whatever.
Of course, I can't see the moral qualms in the slightest with, say, a burns victim who has the surgery in order to remove all the scarring and the damage that was done, but I'm assuming that we're excluding that for the benefit of the question.

I don't think i am all that but average and if i had all the money i could wish for iwouldn't have plastic surgery. It's False security, i would rather grow old gracefully and stay in line with my friends. I only agree with plastic surgery if you had a bad malformation or in cases of accidents.

It all depends why people want to change their image. If it is a matter of insecurity, it may be advisable to have corrective surgery, in order to make the person feel better, more confident about his/herself. Quite often there is a hidden agenda and corrective surgery is NOT the answer, but serious counselling might be better. Sadly one op does not always satisfy the client and they go on to further surgery and become almost addicted to a perceived look they want to achieve. Money is almost not the primary issue for someone who wants to have a certain look. Natural beauty is best, but what is natural beauty. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, is it not?

Plastic surgery should only be for serious accident damage or to correct birth/growth defects in my opinion, it's often a risky procedure and there's no guarantee that you'll even wake from the general anasthetic. I would go for natural beauty every time, especially where boobs and faces are concerned.
It really is bad when people want these things on the NHS!

Plastic Surgery in some cases such as burns patients need it and sorry to say men and women that are in the public eye seem to resort to it as well. Our society puts a great deal of pressure on people to look young and attractive. Actresses would not be employed if they did not come up to "standard" I find it all very shallow.

Natural beauty all the way. But, I do see your point regarding accidents or malformations. I think this is an exception. Trying to make yourself look like someone other than you, while paying thousands of dollars for it, sounds like insecurity. And once you have a new look, the insecurity will still be there.

Plastic surgery is a personal decision and if thats what u want to do then do it. But I don't think it should be done if ur trying to fit in or going broke to look beautiful.

I think there are so many other ways to make yourself attractive and mostly of them involve being beautiful on the inside before even thinking about the outside! whatever you look like on the outside if you're a nasty person you'll never be beautiful. And there are so many other things that money can be better spent on that aren't so selfish.
