My friend recently had a stroke and has paralysis on one side of his body. His is now in rebabilitation facility. I am able to understand some of his words. Has anyone had this experience or had a loved one who has gone through this? With therapy, what are his chances of complete recovery? He is very special to me. Thanks

I know it sounds stupid but I have a really good reason of why I HAVE to have a sore thoart its justto long of a story can someone please tell me HOW CAN I GET A SORE THOART AND HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR ME TOO GET ONE?....PLEASE!

like a lot of women, i cannot take diet pills and want to lose weight the healthy way. i go to the gym regularly and cardio is the best! but i would also like to incorporate a good healthy diet to shed about 30 lbs and maintain it. i tried nutrisystem many years ago. it does work and results are quick, but extremely expensive @ about $70/wk.

anybody that has tried a successful diet - i'd appreciate your tips and how much weight you lost. serious answers please

over 20 plus years ago...at the time i was in shock and did not get them for my records....now the hospital said...they are destoyed after 7 years....i asked why? she just said it's the law!!! what is going on....? i thought they got shipped up to los angeles and are in storage>>>>!!!! HELP!!!

You know, we are all made to pay taxes yearly. Our paychecks are taxed, we take that money and go to the grocery and are taxed, we get gas and our already taxed money gets taxed again. Why can't our tax money pay for health insurance? If a percentage of our tax money went into a health insurance policy all people would have access to healthcare. As an incentive, people who do not use their money for doctor's visits and hospital costs could receive a larger refund. Many people take advantage of the medicaid system...not everyone, but many people do. If the policy was not free, but as a part of their taxed money...they might not take advantage of the system knowing that they would get THEIR money back at the end of the year. Any thoughts? No spam please...the govenors are in South Carolina trying to figure healthcare out...maybe we, the people, should be of the same mind.

Last Monday, the orthodontist told me that I could get my braces taken off, and I'm going in for that tomorrow, but last Monday, when he told me I could get em taken off, he took the bands off of my back teeth. They are now pretty sore, and it hurts when I chew food with them. Is this normal?
