Try nursemates, they are really comfortable and last awhile. Also, Walmart carries dr. schools shoes, they are comfy too!

Go to a better shoe store and get a good supportive shoe. Maybe purchase two pair and change in the middle part of the day. Just a change sometimes helps standing on your feet all day. Many people have that same complaint about concrete floors. Being overweight is also tough on your knees and feet all day. Maybe at your break time take a short walk. Drink a lot of water to stay hydrated. Try changing your shoes twice a day just to get a more comfort change for you.

Do you mean a concrete floor in the abstract sense? Wear Air Jordans. They have a lot of cushion, and they will increase your leaping ability, so you can really hop to it.

I have to wear Nike Airs. They have great arch supports. Once you know your size, you can find on eBay. I work in a school cafeteria, working on concrete floors!!

It's not just a 'lady' thing. Most everybody I know of who spends all day on their feet, swear by clogs.
