make sure you dont have any health problems like bronchitis, asthma or poor heart

then its is just about getting fitter

try first to run at a pace that doesnt leave you breathless - ioncrease the distance you can run in this manner - then after a number of weeks of doing this you can try to run a little faster

I'm hoping that you are fit & there are no health problems or something obvious like smoking.
Running is a physically challenging activity that must be developed gradually over time. Spend two sessions a week preparing your body for the action of running: resistance training of the lower limbs to develop muscular strength and endurance and a focus on flexibility is vital. Dedicate three specific days a week to running and give yourself differing goals for each running session. For example day one may be to complete a series of 5 minute runs, day two may be to run as long as you can at a low rate of intensity, day three may be to alternate between walking, jogging, running changing discipline every minute or so. Look to increase your duration and intensity and build a base level so that after six weeks your aim should be to run 25-30 mins in duration.
It takes the body a little time to absorb the training, but be patience and you will gradually feel it coming on.ENJOY.

you need to improve your fitness. Do what you can and rest for a few minutes then repeat. Do this for maybe half an hour the first day and then build this up each day. You will see the distance you can go before tiring increase day on day as your body adapts. If daily exercise is too much the benefits can be achieved more slowly if you do something at least twice a week.

You haven't built up your endurance yet and also may be breathing wrong. You need to breathe deeply through your diaphragm and over time you will develop this. It does not happen overnight, the marathon runners you see in the Olympics did not start running that day. Keep working on it and it'll come.

If you are just starting out running. I would start at a slower pace. Build yourself up to the pace you are wanting. Start out by jogging 1-2 miles... Then do a little more each day. Don't over do it though.
Be sure to stretch before and after u run. So your muscles don't tense up.
Good luck

It's all about conditioning. You need to run continuously for at least 30 minutes every day until your breathing is conditioned to stay normal for the first 5 minutes.

Go to the doctor and make sure there is nothing wrong. Then take it easy, start slow and work you way up. And find an experienced runner who can give you breathing techniques

i think that you should drink more water and pratice more at your running because the more you run the longer you will be able to run wit out losing your breathe. If that doesn't work i suggest you go get medical attention because you might have asthma...
