I'm on Paxil and have been now for three years. It controls my anxieties and manic depression as well as post tramautic stress. I can leave the house and cross the street also. I'm ok most of the time as a passenger but getting behind the wheel and I just freak out. Suggestions?

I still can't get over the fact that my uncle lose his lighter for fourth time in a week, broken his glasses for second time in a month I have been here, broken his dente once (he have broken it more than 10 time in last 4 years), lost all of his five pens when trying to remodel house, and more. I have known few people such as my friend who broken his camera and lost deodrant and ticke to Miss Deaf USA in one week when we all were there.

Is this anything relate to psychology or what?

What's the best way to relieve stress? Problems at home are causing my stress level to rocket - and right now I feel worse than ever. I need a relaxing/soothing way to get rid of this stress.

its been 5 months since a friend of mine, Orville "Buddy" Seglar, died in a car accident coming back from the prom. I thought that I would die with the mourning that I went through, but for some reason, the pain still hasn't lessened from the incident. alot has happened since then, I was forced to move 100 miles away and start anew in a new town, but even this won't hasn't made the agony cese, I need closure, but everywhere I look, I cannot find what I need, I find that I have to paint a fake persona of who I was before this incident so the guys won't find me so freakish, only to return home and have an emotional break down, what is wrong with me?

I'm not afraid of any other insect or animals. I dont mind rats or snakes and I've even swam with sharks on holiday.Arachnaphobia is really common but why? Is it an instictual thing developed through evolution or is it nurtured from seeing frightened adults? It is a unique fear that I have.Nothing or nobody gives me this feeling so I want to get to the root of it

If say someone cut themselves several times bad enough to need stitches, but it was not a suicide attempt, when/ if they go to the hospital, what's the licklyhood they'd get a psyc. evaluation or be sent to a mental ward? Is there a way to explain cuts on the stomach and top of the arm without saying they were self inflicted? Do you have to tell them what happened or can you just say I'd rather not talk about it? Can they tell the difference between self inflicted and accidental? What would happen if you said they were self infilcted? Sorry so many questions just trying to see if someone should even go to the hospital or just try to tape the cuts closed.

My Husband and I have been retired about 18 months. He barely talks. He almost never gets up before 10 or 11 or 12. He stays up until about 3 on the computer every night.

I considered that he is watching porn. But honestly I don't think that's it. He has been doing research for a motor home for about 6 years now and since retiring its mostly on the internet.

He barely speaks to anyone and if I ask for any help to do anything that might need two people, he just never even responds. It's as if I never spoke. I just don't get it. He has never been social. Although he is great on the phone, that's how we met and his work was most always on the phone.

Our children are grown and he forced me into being interested in traveling by motor home. Now that we are almost there he refuses to do anything to contribute to getting the house on the market. HELP HELP HELP. I desperately need some input. Thank you one and all..

I ran out, and went 1 day without until I could get to the Dr., I was hating life, tired, sick, when I look up online doesn't tell withdrawal symptoms, Dr just said it wasn't advisable, didn't really say much.
