lilmiswiz is right. If you feel like people are watching you try to make yourself believe that they think you look good or something. I had that problem a long time ago. I would think that people are watching me and I was afraid that they thought I looked stupid or I was afraid that I might do something weird. It makes you feel bad about yourself. If you feel bad about yourself try doing things that make you feel good about yourself. If you start an exercise routine it will help these feelings go away because when your body is strong it also helps your mind to be strong. It makes you feel good about yourself. Now if you actually do something weird or by accident or something all you can do is have the confidence to laugh at it knowing that everyone does something weird from time to time. If I do something strange accidentally I just go with it and try to make as many people laugh as I can. If you start having problems like social anxiety disorder you should get counseling as soon as possible. These things are caused by the way we think and we do it to ourselves. Sometimes people tend to twist reality into something that it's not. It's important to know how to think about these things in a positive way rather than negatively. It's good to smile when you are around people and be friendly. If you do that then you will have positive experiences with people. Another way to see if people are watching you is to look at them. You will be surprised to see that they aren't. I would bet money that when you feel like people are watching you, you aren't looking at them to see if it's true. It's something you are imagining and it makes you uncomfortable. Also try doing some breathing exercises. They help you to relax.

Why should all eyes be on you, what makes you so special that everyone wants to look at you? Maybe you extra good looking, extra ugly? Stop and think about it!
Unless your something special or doing something specially different then no one is singling you out from the crowd, you just another face.
Just realize this and stop worrying.

Think positive. Say to yourself that these people are staring because they think you're a nice person to get to know. Maybe they're admiring your walk, the way you carry yourself, your hair, clothes, etc. If you catch their eye, just smile, maybe say hello and just keep on walking or doing what you were doing.

Have a great day!

Think about something else... like friends... something you like.

Sports? Games? Something that's fun that you're going to do later in the day/week.

I'm the same way, I just try to ignore it though. It takes a lot of hard work but once you do it quite a few times, it works. Also, alcohol sometimes works too. Captain Morgan is the good friend.

I have to agree with fullofsunshine, Hold your head high and smile. Could be they think they would like to be like you. Could be you are the only human they have ever seen. In any case, do not let it worry you. Take it as a compliment.

Smile and wave, like a celebrity. Might as well enjoy it, right? Some people wait their whole lives to get noticed.

make sure you look good!! No seriously - most people are people watchers... but they are not staring at you and watching your every move. Just learn to relax and not be as paranoid. Smile at them and move on. Smiling breaks tension in case your wondering.
