Deep breathing, with breathing through the nose and exhaling through the mouth.
Also, it has been said you tend to become more anxious when you know something bad is about to happen and waiting for it, rather than something unexpected. So relax, and take care of what you can, and deal with the things you can't the best you can.

It's normal to get nervous! I still get nervous before I do a performance and I basically live on the stage haha! Those butterflies in your tummy are what make you do well. Some of the best speakers and performers in the world have admitted they get nervous. Adele said she gets EXTREMELY nervous before a performance. You just have to let them not take you over. If you're well rehearsed, you have nothing to worry about. You should know what you need to do and say before you get up there. That should help a LOT. Once you get up there and start doing your thing, the nerves will most likely go away. That's what always happens with me. Just make sure you're prepared and you'll do fine :)

Just two acts: 1. you tell yourself with any analysis that: Maybe it is some percents of probability that the counter part is right even 1%. and you stand in position of a judge between you and he or she (the opposite side)GIVE her or him even a minimum right and few right on fairness to him or her (even at that instance you think he or she is 100% guilty) from right of yourself, and then make a judgement between you and the opposition and you know that now this decision is 100% true and act on this. 2. Become far away physically from the stressfull event or person ie go out home or another room in house. I mean make a physical distance which will be highly effective in subsiding nervous condition immediately.

There are quite a few natural products on the markets like nervatona and rescue remedy, they are made from 5 different types of flowers and work a treat. The best part is they are natural and non addictive. Most health food stores stock at least 2 different types. The website below is about one of the products that both my daughter and I have both used. The best part is, we don't seem to need it anymore. After a couple of months we both just seemed to chill out a bit more. Maybe it was all in our head and we just needed to let our body know.

It helps if you have someone to talk to about it. If you have a friend w/ you confide in them tell them your nervous and want to just talk to them to get your mind off the situation at hand. If you don't have a friend with you or can't get one to be with you then trying calling one. If you can't do that there's always gum chewing it's better then biting your lip ....concentrate on how big you can blow a bubble your mind will be off the subject at hand. The key is to redirect the nervousness. Easier said then done. Look at this way there's probably more people then you think nervous who are admitting it!! Think about something else and just relax take deep slow breathes, tell yourself you can do this and will succeed. Talk to God and pray for straight to conquer this nervousness. Good Luck!

Decide deep down to be calm. Fear is a choice. Realize that being nervous will do me no good.

Concentrate on your breathing. Make sure you're taking slow even breaths. That should distract you enough to keep you calm.

That's a good suggestion, proper breathing always relaxes me,
but I have to remind myself to do it!
I also have an inner dialog that tells me
I'm gonna get through this, it will be over soon, etc.
