I didn't realize they did...They cause headaches, seizures, hydrocephalus. The increased intracranial pressure may cause developmental delay and behavioral changes. They may also cause weakness or paralysis on one side of the body and lack of muscle control.
My personal opinion is that if they are located in just the right place, they possibly could cause pressure on some part of the hearing system.

I will be seeing a surgeon in Lexington,Ky on thrusday for an arachnoid cyst. I have headache,earaches,loss of vision,loss of hearing,weakness to left side and a few more things. When I get back I'll let you know what he says. But it is probably from fluid build up & pressure in the sella
