I took prednisone in doses of 60 mil for 5 days then 50 mil for 5 days down to 10 mil for one day. this was for about a total of 63 pills. I am wondering how long the drug stays in your system. I am feeling pretty good 5 days after stopping them and i am wondering if it takes a while to wear off will the other shoe drop and I will have significant back pain again. Thank you

I was recently told by gyne that I have cyst in my breasts.
I also have them on my ovaries. I've been on the patch for 2 months already. I've had a light headache since last week and pain in my right breast and my lower right side belly. I am on vicodin for the pain since thats the only thing that I can take nothing else works.

I've been to the ER a million times and they don't do anything to me since its the same thing I go for over and over. I am feeling very depressed because it seems like no one cares. =(

I've had to switch Doctors too because they want to wait...and see if the cyst go down..I can't wait any longer..

Thank you in advance for your opinions.

I have horrible migranes!!! Whenever I lay down on my stomach for a short period of time then sit up or stand, my head begins to throb and within five minutes I have a fullblown migrane. The lights hurt my eyes and the sounds make everything worse, even when I get alone in my room the nothing-ness noise gets to me.

Is there someone wrong? Am I doing something? Should I consult a doctor? Which I have already went to and had have every single test done to me. I'm healthy but is there something deeper?

Argh it really pisses me off, I can't ride roller coasters or anything that makes me dizzy.

Help, advice?

I am thinking about joining an investigational study to research this medication and was wondering if anyone has ever taken it? I have had chronic low back pain from an unknown source for 3+ years. I have had numerous tests done and no physician can find the cause. I have been through physical therapy, chiropractic adjustments, diet, exercise and lifestyle changes and the only relief I get is from medication. The only medicine (other than opioids) that relieved the pain was Vioxx. I have a sensitivity to NSAIDS which makes pain relief harder to achieve, therefore I take Kenalog (a corticosteroid) 80mg IM injections every 3 months which helps with the inflammation. I was asked to participate in this study by a physician I know, and was wondering if there were any ill side effects to the medication (e.g. nausea, constipation, euphoria, dizziness, irritability, etc.). If anyone has taken this medication please advise. I am willing to try anything to ease the pain. Thanks!

I currently take Oxymorphone and am switching to oxycodone. Will I experience withdrawal from the morphine when I stop taking it and start the oxycodone or will any form of opiate be enough to keep the withdrawal away? I take opiates because of a condition I have that causes me to have constant severe pain.

8 hours after the ingestion the man in excellant health had severe stomuch cramps in the middle of night for almost 2 hours followed by strong bowl movement and forceful ejection of fesces. About 16 hours after the ingestion, or about 8 hours after the stomuch cramps, he had heart pain and palpitations, which lasted for about 15 to 20 minutes. I've been on it for 12 years. After a surgery went bad my doctor overdosed me accidentally on methadone.I was on a external pacemaker for 72 hors. It feels like your getting punched in the heart. I've known several addicts and several pain patients on methadone. It is dangerous and once taken you'll be on it forever.A methadone clinic can help you. Do you have state assistance you can qualify for? I'm not trying to ***** it scares the hell out of me what you are about to do. But my oh my you'll be dead if you start at the methadone clinic dose of 100-150mg What you want to know is 5-10mg once or twice a day. Are you taking it for pain or addiction. Even addicts can be treated with narcotics. They just need higher doses but have a right to be treated for the pain.

I'm trying to recover from a pill addiction Due to circumstances, I can't go into rehab and have no medical insurance for methadone. I can purchase some, but I'm not sure how much to take. I'm scared I'm going to OD, or not use enough. I've been taking about 8 10mg lortabs 2 or 3 times a day for awhile now. How do I know how much methadone I need to take so I don't go through withdrawl? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

PS. Please don't say "go to the doctor" or "don't buy it off the streets". The person I can get it from is a trusted friend, and I can't go to the doctor or a clinic because of medical insurance issues. What I really need is personal experiences and dosaging information. Again, thank you for your help.

A small white pill about 1/8th of an inch circumference with a "R" symble and the number 59 below it. The "R" symble starts before the first verticle downward line, so it's like a regular "R" but the line that makes the "p" part extends past the verticle line. I believe the pill is Ativan but I'm going to throw them away if I cannot find out.

Thanks everyone!

If you have tried morphine and methadone and oxycontin, is oxycontin better than MSContin because oxycontin is the slow release version of oxycodone and MSContin the slow release of morpine and isn't morphine supposed to be on top in benefits of pain relief like the best? Or do you feel its best to rotate. Oxycontin is the one thing I haven't tried. I use muscle relaxers too. A combo or cocktail usually works the best for me.
