I have been suffering from chronic neck pain for over 5 years now. It's on my upper right rear side of my neck, most likely C-1 or C-2. It hurst mostly when I use the muscles to support/turn my head.It doesn't hurt when I lay down or rest my head on something. I have been to many chiropractors, neurologists, neuro surgeon, tjm specialists, gp, accupuncture. Have tried amytriptoline, feldine, ibuprofen. I have had 2 mri's, a ct scan and x-rays and all show nothing, and doctors have found NOTHING! The meds and chiropractics did help for a while, but pain returnes. Positions that bother it are sitting at computer or a table like when bending forward eating, returning to a sanding position from bending down, sometimes turning my head, looking up, driving. I can located the area of pain by feeling it, rubbing it does feel good. I don't know what else to do or where else to turn. Any suggestions would be so much more appreciated than you would ever know!!!

I eat lunch at 11:00 every morning. If I don't eat anything until after 3:00 I get a terrible headache that doesn't go away until I sleep it off at night. Even if I do eat something, the headache doesn't get any better. I have tried Acetomenophin and Ibuprophen and neither provide any relief at all. I have talked to my doctor about this and he doesn't know what to do. What type of headache is this and what can I take to get rid of it? Serious answers only, please.

When acetaminophen was initially approved for over-the-counter sales, there were two leading brands right out of the box. Tylenol was one and it's the one that has lasted. What was the brand name of the other?

I have at least 2-3 severe migraines a week. Over the past 3-4 years they have continuously increased in frequency and severity. I have been on numerous combinations of medications to stop and prevent the pain with no relief. At my neurologist's request I have even tried Botox. I was hospitalized for 5 days in November with a Dihydroergotamine (DHE)(migraine med) and Reglan(antinausea med) IV hooked up to me. I'm tired of taking meds that don't work and I don't want to start taking pain meds on a regular basis just to get through the day. My quality of life is next to nothing. A few weeks ago I had a day where I woke up before 7am on my own, I felt great and was full of energy up until around 8pm when my migraine cam back with vengence. I have become so accustomed to feeling bad that I wasn't aware of how bad until I had that day. I want my life back. What other alternatives may be out there to help me?

When standing or walking the pain comes on. But when lying down or sitting with my arm on an armrest the pain goes away. Any idea what it could be? Any suggestions on a remedy?

For the past week or two I've had a really sharp pain in my left wrist. It doesn't hurt when I bend it forward...only when I bend it back and put pressure on it (like if I lean on it). It also hurts when I type occasionally. I haven't really noticed any numbness or anything and I'm almost positive that it's not an injury. Does anyone know what this could be?

I had my gallbladder taken out by laparscopy 2 years ago last month, I also had a c-section 3 weeks ago on Monday, I have been having some pain under my right breast and I was wandering if it could be scar tissue from my gallbladder surgery or gas pain and pressure from the other surgery, Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this?

when i run i have this severe pain in my ankle. i have been running around my neighborhood to train for the lacrosse season and each day the pain in my ankles gets worse. ive tried everything i can think of, i got new sneakers and checked which brand was the best with my numerous friends on the track team (they told me asics, so i got them) and ive tried streatching before i go for a jog. but nothing has helped and my ankle pain got so bad yesterday that i started crying. the pain isnt like "ive been running for a while and now my ankles are tired" its more like as soon as i speed up in walking or go up and down stairs i get this pain above the big bone on my inner ankle. its on both sides but sometimes one side feels worse the other. i dont think its sprained becuase its not swollen and its not red. it really only hurts when i run/walk up and down stairs/and squat at my locker (stupid bottom locker). i have to be able to run a 6:40 mile soon and i cant even finish one, please help

The other day, I noticed that my heel was hurting anytime that I put pressure on it which is a lot because my high school classes are far away from each other. Then I had a group physical therapy ACL thing and it was still bothering me even thought I took an Alieve....then after my dad was looking at my foot and checking it out and he felt a bump and said that it might be a ganglion...would that be plausible though? I thought that those only formed in hand and near joints and the pain on my heel isn't near my ankle. Is there anything else that it would be?

I worked out for the 1st time in 4 months and for the last 3 days
I have been in exruciating pain in my triceps. I can't even lift
my arms to comb my hair, eat food, etc. I take lipitor every night
for my cholesterol. Would this have any effect on the intensity
of my muscle pain or is it because I was just not used to working
out? Will this pain go away because it is very debilitating
