Other day I passed out and I don’t know why and I just wanted to know what happens your body when you pass out. It was really weird I was just standing there and I got really dizzy and then I felt like I was going to throw up and then I got a little weak and then I closed my eyes and then all I remember was waking up on the floor I don’t really remember falling or hitting the floor and it felt like I stopped breathing for a minute. Then it was like my legs and arms were twitching. Then the person that was there said to me “could you see me and I was like “no not really” then he said O because your eyes were rolled back into your head” Is all that normal when you pass out? I don't think I had a seizure because they said I fainted but when I woke up a little I had a little spit on the side of my mouth. Please help me figure this out thanks

I have a 4 years old niece. She has been sucking her thumb forever now. She does not seem to be getting rid of this habit despite of all our efforts and methods. As a result of this her teeth have started protruding outwards as well as the frontal gum area is also getting disfigured. Any help/suggestion in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

I used to beable to wake up easily feeling energized and ready to exercise and workout before I went to work. Now a days I will throw my alarm clock across the room, and I wake up 30 minutes before I go to work. And now a days when I get home, Im too tired to do anything at all. Dont know what to do, and I go to bed with plenty of time to sleep, so its not a need for sleep. What can I do?

As a growing teen, I need more sleep. I cannot go to sleep. I have to wake-up at 5:20 every morning and go to bed at 10:30. Besides getting more sleep, I can never go fall asleep. Things are always on my mind and I am so compulsive that it takes me like half an hour before I got to sleep.

I plan to go to bed at 9:30, but it takes me about an hour after I reach bed to go to sleep. I need to fall asleep faster and grow taller to get girl friends.

Is it ok to take cold medicine PM once a while if you cant fall asleep?

Last night i couldnt sleep, i stared at my ceiling for 40 minutes straight and having stressful thoughts and not tired at all. So i took a CVS Cold Relief Night Time and i passed out.

Obviously i know that this could lead to addiction or damage my system. But i was sad :[ and wanted to fall asleep.

Im not like 50 or anything. Im a Senior in HS 17yr guy 5`8 160pds (jacked lol!). I just got rejected to prom. meh. :/

I can not go to sleep at night time. I wake up every morning at 6:40. I am exhausted and grumpy, but at night time I feel like I am not tired at all and I can't even force my self to get in bed before 11:45, I feel like I should be doing something. I think seeing a doctor would be taking it to an extreme.

Okay smoking is bad for you, we all know that. But then again eating high sugar and fatty foods are as well. Laying out in the sun is bad, tanning is bad, eating to much fish, not getting enough sleep, to much sleep, everything is bad for you it seems. But my question is this....................why don't we tax EVERYTHING bad for you like we tax smokers? Would you pay 14.00 for a cheesburger? That's the same rate as taxes on cigarettes. Heart diseas is the #1 killer in the USA and eating wrong is just as much to blame as smoking. Does that make taxes on one certain thing right?

between 95 and 110 BPM for the last 10 years, now lately it has gone up to a 125 average, during a resting state, her husband is freaking out saying it's too high, is it so high we should all be concerned for her? Is she at risk for a heart attack or other problems? If so what can we do to lower it naturally, as in no drugs?

PLEASE READ, I KNOW ITS LONG.
i have had two piano competitions in the last few days in Dublin. I live in Cork so it is about 4 hours up and down four times plus the playing. I supose i did put alot of energy in it but yesterday and today my head feels like there is a weight in it like it feels full and can't function. It is ok all right if i'm on the fone cos i was on it a while ago but other than that i get that feeling again! My eyes don't feel tired though but do you think my body is very tired. I know this may not sound like a big deal for you but for me it is. I meant to mention that i don't drive.
