These days more and more it seems I have no energy left after lunch. Is there any way to avoid this? Any tips? FYI coffee and caffeine in general doesn't really work for me.

It's good to avoid a lunch that's high in carbs or just heavy in general. It works for me to eat an orange and drink water about 30 min. after eating lunch and it picks me back up again. You're right about caffeine because it generally makes you crash around that time if you had it in the morning, even if you have it again. I hate feeling tired at lunch time too!

stay away from sugars and fats at lunch time because you will crash later. try peanut butter, also you may want to get your blood sugars checked you could be hypoglycemic (meaning your blood sugars are dropping) I have this and if I eat too much of the wrong foods I will crash and get really sick and grouchy, I understand about the coffee it seems to work about 8 or 9 at night not when you need it. good luck and get those blood sugar levels checked.

If you are eating at lunch, that's why. Your body wants you to take a nap to so it can digest your food. You can try eating a smaller meal.
Other than that I really don't know. I have the same problem. Usually I feel like I have to take a nap after I eat.

Eat protein and avoid sugar and simple carbs like white bread, white rice, etc.
